I know Cerakote recommends 100 grit aluminum oxide or garnet sand, but is there a recommended micron range? I'm looking at garnet sand online that has a micron size range of 125-250 which seems pretty wide. Possibly too much to get an even coat?

Sorry to UJ but y’all are the (and this is so sad) only ones capable of critical thought.
It came up in conversation in a group (all of us in early 30’s) that we all had parents who had never played any instrument before, and yet insisted that you needed to learn how to play guitar on an acoustic first.
This seems too randomly specific to be a coincidence. Is there a known origin to this?

Here’s my deep dive into the data to determine if Enha can win this award!!!
For those wondering, Billboard will look up the data for the tours of each group to determine the winner. This will probably be a close fight between Enhypen and Seventeen. What I can say is that Seventeen do book bigger venues in the US, but since it is data evaluated over a 12 month period, Enhypen has had a stronger presence and revenue as of now (in the US). Seventeen only toured in Asia this year and have started their 2nd tour with a US leg only in October. On the other hand Enha had a 27 million $ revenue from their US leg of the fate tour alone (from october of last year to may). Both groups have started a second tour, although Enhypen have not announced US dates as of now. I believe it is safe to say that the 12 month period does not count November or even October of this year. Also, the judging criteria’s are not made public but if billboard also looks at overall touring revenue and data worldwide here’s what we can compare:
- Seventeen’s last tour had 111 million $ revenue (from July 2023 to May 2024) while Enhypen’s fate tour had 61 million $ revenue (from July 2023 to September 2024) but keep in mind that the revenue of 11 Japan shows have not yet been confirmed which is at least another 14 million $(according to the fact that if each were at full capacity it would be 23 million $ approximately)
- Seventeen’s Follow tour had 28 shows across Asia while Fate had 42 shows across Asia and the US (keep in mind attendance is also important)
- Seventeen have announced 30 dates (from October to February) for their Spill the Feels tour in Asia and North America while Enhypen have announced 10 dates (from October to June) only in asia as of now.
For anyone who knows more information please feel free to share it, I’ve only compared info I found on Wikipedia and on Touring data (Wordpress). This post is just based on facts I could find and estimations I made.

I work for a nonprofit so I have a 403b. I’m 31 and have about 5k in it last I checked. My employer will match up to 2%. I did 2% this year but now that we’re in open enrollment season, I’m having trouble deciding what I should do for next year’s contributions.
Things are pretty tight still, better than they’ve been in the past, but I am worried about overextending myself by being over ambitious with my % contribution.
I make about 42k a year before tax. Single income, one child.

Hey I ordered an Anbernic RG405V and I was kinda unsure about whether I made the right decision. One concern is that its not very pocketable, but I was fine with that thinking maybe some cargo pants or a small bag could hold it. My main concern is that I am paying the extra money and it might not be able to really run much extra compared to something much cheaper. Am I getting the best performance for about the $100-$120 price point?

I spent 10 years with a Lenovo laptop that had an Nvidia 840M and suddenly it died on me so it really was time for an upgrade. 2024.11.26 00:24 sunrisedHorizon I’m so god damn tired
LO is almost 6 months old. She still wakes up a couple of times a night but that’s not really the issue. The issue is she complains a lot if she is left alone to play. She always wants me either by her side or or be picked up and carried and she is sooooooo heavy. Also she only naps for 30min per nap. It’s like clock work. As soon as the clock hits 30min, she starts stirring, it’s absolutely insane. And I don’t get any break all day because by the time I finish pumping and grabbing a quick bite, she’s back at it, needing 1000% of my attention and strength (to carry her). I love her so much but I’m soooo tired. I feel like I’m working out the whole day but not able to put enough calories in my body because I have no time. And yes I so let her whinge a bit while I prepare food but I scoff it down and never enjoy my meals anymore.
I found myself bending over with my hands in my face while putting her binky in her mouth for a nap …. I don’t have family in this country to lean on either.
