I don’t have any texts to show. Basically, I’ve been working at this job for about 5 months and I’ve been a part time floater. I didn’t really care about hours/pay at the beginning because this job is a really good experience for me and I needed to get my foot through the door to get experience in this field. I was ok with doing what I was told in order to satisfy my boss, so my hours have been really inconsistent and my pay is low.
Basically, this girl (let’s call her Bella), was planning on leaving in December to move across the country. I was supposed to take over her job (full time version of my current job) and I’ve been planning on that and discussed it with my boss, along with a raise, and it was decided. However, this girl got unexpectedly fired a month ago.
After firing her, my boss proceeds to hire a new girl to take over Bella’s position and keeps me as a part time floater. It kind of upset me because I feel like he thinks I’m not doing a good job, even though he constantly praises me for my work. I haven’t mentioned it to him, but after Thanksgiving I think I’ll ask him for a raise and talk about getting more hours like I thought I was going to be getting. I’m just bad at confrontation and I feel like i’m upset for no reason. Am I overreacting?

 | Wanted some input if you’re willing. I’m selling my 2000 LX470 (bucket list for me) and I’m going to miss it dearly. With 2 kids and getting tired of 9mpg it’s time to change it up. I’ve found a 2013 ES 350 for 6k and it has a stack on maintenance records. The service history includes the following: Spark Plugs (219k), AC condenser replaced(146k), new brakes & rotors (140k), transmission fluid & cooling system fluid exchange (100k), etc. It keeps going and a stack of routine maintenance. I had a 2008 ES 350 and I loved it but was stolen by some future engineers & rocket scientists and was totaled. This LX I’m selling has 246k miles and I’m getting 11k for it. Wanted to downsize and save some coin while I can. Figured this would be a great way to do so. I wanted to get some input if yall think this is crazy and just kinda the way she goes.
