We are looking to apply to SNAP in Texas. Family of 3 (31,26,4). We are on a single income because of the cost of childcare and my inability to make as much as it costs.. also, waitlist is 2+ years long.
Our monthly income right now is $1800-$2000. We rely heavily on my from-scratch cooking and food banks to get food.
I’m currently enrolled in college (online, 9 units), which according to the benefits website this disqualifies me… but also- I’m taking care of my son full-time… which would qualify me?
When I try to call the snap office, it always goes to voicemail. The drive is 45+ minutes to the closest office. I’m just curious if anyone has insider knowledge on this?

My Mom and I have never been close or had a good relationship. She always made it clear that having children was something she regretted. Now, her health is not great and her doctor says she needs to move in with someone, move in with me or move into assisted living. I am the only child and she has cut herself off from her siblings. I live in a one bedroom apartment on the west coast. She lives on the East coast. I do not know what to do? Any advice on how to find a good assisted living facility? Please no guilting comments, I feel bad enough already.

I brought thoses :Skullcandy Rail In-Ear Wireless Earbuds with Microphone - Water Resistant on ebay (reconditionned) for about 20£ It came in 3 days and was quite happy with this but it seem like i can only connect 1 earbud( left one ) the right one, the led work (is blue in the charger) but dont make any noise/sound when in my ear or react to me touching the sensor like the other one. If someone has any idea of what's going on

Hello, my name is Thomas and I am a recent college grad, and would like to see what direction I could take my life with someone. If I am being honest, I am very clueless person in general right now it seems. I can’t seem to pend down on where I want to go at all. I have my life mostly well together, but without anyone in my life to share it with. I am not an antisocial person, but I simply quit being social in college to graduate and haven’t been able to really connect with anyone since then. My hygiene is very up to snuff as well since I sometimes take two showers a day, brushing my teeth twice a day, laundry once a week, etc. I do enjoy certain activities like jogging or walking in photogenic areas, playing video games, watching tv and movies, listening to music (Weezer is one of my favorite bands; I know it’s a basic choice but I love them). More or less if you like what you have read so far hit me up I’ll respond right away, and I do like enjoy voice chats so you can add me on discord or we can exchange numbers. I am also an accepting person of anyone no matter what you look like. Some more things about me:

So i was walking home late night and on a street crossing i see three women.
I just stand by idly and then i make eye contact and smirk with my eyes narrow and I look at one of them and ask
"Hey does the button for pedestrian traffic light actually work?"
And one of them says humourously "no it's just there for decoration" and we exchange some back and forth remarks.
She mentions to her friend "Look at that man he is dressed properly for the winter unlike you"
And I comment that I'm not used to the weather from where I'm from and she asks where i am from and we share the same background.
We have a conversation in her language.
So we talk for a little bit and then i just ask "Do you want to be friends?" And she enthusiastically gives me her contact info.

Hello, I searched through the forum before posting and having seen anything since launch. I got the game yesterday and played a few times with no issue. Now currently trying to load game and it’s been slowly going up, at 12% now for over an hour. Is this to be expected? I thought they increased server capacity. Maybe it’s busier at night? All the other times it’s been during the day no wait on load time.
