I've been reading/listening to JBP for a number of years now, and this has set me on a path toward God. I'm surrounded by non-believers and I wonder if something that keeps agnostics/atheists from believing might be comfort? What I mean is: might unconsciously followed biblical concepts at least partially account for a person's inability to recognize the value of following/living those concepts? A simple example might be: humans undoubtedly find a sense of acceptance and fulfillment by remaining married and having children. While this may not be a purely biblical concept, it's more and more held to be a high standard by more biblical-minded people. Anyway, is there a name for this idea? What does everyone think? Thanks

This is my 14 week old puppy Callie. I finally got the food sensitivities figured out that caused her to have liquid poops, but now she has RANCID smelling poop. I’ve had plenty of animals in my life and hers by far are the most foul smelling poops. (Even my cat with stomach cancer didn’t have poop this smelly)
What are some things I could give her to lessen the smell of the poop? I understand it will naturally smell to some degree, but if I could find something to minimize it. That would be super helpful.

They're also writing me a check to cover my remaining lease payments ($2,000). There are some scratches on my current car and I fear if I do turn in the lease, I'll owe.

I already posted this in another Korean subreddit but since i know that in this one here are more Koreans I thought I give it a shot. If it´s not appropriate kindly remove the post!
It seems most foreigners are working at a hagwon - which i definitely do not want to do as I am not interested in teaching and in general I am used to an office environment. I will be on a F-visa soon and my Korean skills are around level 3. I have had around 1 year of work experience at big names and government institutes in my Europen home country.
Is there any possibility of me getting a corporate job anywhere in Korea?

Do not get fetch pet insurance for your dachshund. My dachshund’s policy went up from $65 monthly to $179 monthly from 2024 to 2025. There was no good reason for the increase. I have been a customer for 9 years and have referred many people. I will no longer keep a policy with this company or recommend it after this experience. I’m deeply saddened by this price gouging. It's just a small thing but it kinda takes me out of the game. Why would Sol Divisive supplicants be operating alongside the Compelled Vex? I can get behind Protheon still being the strike boss - adding a yoke to their model would probably be in the too hard basket - but not mixing subtypes like that without some kind of story justification.
It's just a lil disappointing to see the lack of attention to detail. They clearly had Oded Fehr around to do a new Osiris line for the strike, so they could have at least lampshaded the subtype mixing (it's exactly the kind of thing Osiris would comment on).
Oh well.
