2024.11.26 02:20 ImprovedSilence New Bedale has some sort of plastic membrane lining the tartan?
So I just received a new Bedale. TWO things stand out:
One, the Barbour tag does not have any royal warrants on it, thoughts on why?
Two, the cotton lining seems to have this plastic like film lining on the inside. It's visible from the inside of the inner pocket, but I can also feel that the whole liner has it. It seems like it doesn't breathe AT ALL. My 2 yr older Beaufort jacket doesn't have this coating and is way more comfortable because of this fact. Has anyone else noticed this or seen a coat with this kind of lining? I've heard conflicting things about Barbour changing things up because of PFAS etc etc, as well as in a previous post here (https://www.reddit.com/Barboucomments/1gpr8ue/sage\_color\_change\_over\_time). I can't tell, from that post it would seem I have the older PFAS version, but I had also heard I got one of the first ones with a new lining..? doesn't make sense, my sku is MWX0018SG91 and it's make in UK.
I guess I'm looking to clear things up, and I'm learning towards just sending it back. I got it from a reputable retailer. It's sorta upsetting as my plan with this bedale was to never re-wax it and let it turn into a comfy everyday lightweight jacket, and my Beufort gets the re-wax treatment and is my rain/woods jacket.... But if Barour has gone down the "showerproof" path with all sorts of synthetic weather proofing, well I might as well just skip it and buy a Patagucci rain jacket...

I lost a black wallet around two hours ago today - it has my driver's licence, debit card, ids, etc. The wallets been gifted to me, so it's very special to me and I really hope to find it.... I traced back all my steps, and told the BCIT security about it as well. Does anyone happen to know of any agencies in the area that might be looking for Web Development help? Mostly front-end, but have worked with PHP in Wordpress (have done many custom themes). Also doing a React course currently, and want to get into more advanced JS.
I’m currently in Maine, but have seen some agencies (that I’ve contacted/applied to in the last few days & prior) so I know there are places that will have a high enough salary for my wife and I to relocate.
We were just there for a couple of weeks, and want to be closer to family/the exceptional weather. I have Seasonal Affective Disorder as well, so it’s a personal dream to get out of New England winters!

Miyabi is going to be the second character for me to work on disc farming. I assume she'll be a critical attacker so I'm probably going to farm rate and damage.
Because my first character for me was M1 Ellen with her weapon who only needed critical damage for me since she got lots of critical rate built-in, I feel like farming for Miyabi is much harder because she would need two stats.
I understand that's what "farming" is, but farming for two stats at the same time sounds overwhelming to me.
Now I have two questions.
1) Does she need both rate/damage from the first place? If she only needs either or something that will be much better.
2) how is it like to farm two stats at the same time?
