I took the bus from the ferry today, the 98. I pulled the cable and requested a stop, knowing the next stop on the route was a couple blocks away. The bus stopped immediately…there were only three other people on the bus and it was awkward. I didn’t get out. The bus then closed the doors and kept going. I pulled the cord again when we came to the intersection the stop “should have” been at. It stopped and I left. Do bus drivers even pay attention to the stops listed on the bus route? How’s does this work?
TLDR: will the busses stop anywhere you request, or only designated stops on the route?

ich habe nach fast drei Jahren endlich eine DG-Wohnung mit fast 60m² in NRW gefunden.
Die Wohnung ist 2024 fast abgeschlossen. Der Vermieter hat mir einen unbefristeten Vertrag online zugesendet:
Kalt 670 € Nebenkosten 100 € Stellplatz 30 € Strom 35 €
= 835 € Warm
Es gibt einen Staffelmietpreis der ab Dez. 2026 greift i. H. v. 3 %. Bei dem aktuellen Mietpreis würde ich ca. 37 % (ohne Internet & GEZ) zahlen. Ich möchte gerne die Wohnung, hadere aber mit mir, ob dass die richtige ist. Zusätzlich müsste ich eine Küche organisieren und 2.000 € Kaution zahlen. Was mir auffiel ist die Kleinreparaturklausel, was on top stutzig macht.
Gibt es da irgendeinen Haken an der ganzen Geschichte oder bilde ich es mir (hoffentlich) nur ein? Danke!!!

Super stressed out by in-laws coming in 30 min and the room (we roomshare) looks like a tornado ran through it. Baby girl decided to refuse her bassinet all night until 3PM this afternoon. I don’t feel comfortable co-sleeping at all, so she was contact napping and I did not sleep. I was stressed out by having to clean the room now on 4 hours of sleep and husband asked “well why don’t you just keep it clean” and said that by now (baby girl is 1 month old) I should have taking care of her snd keeping a clean room down and that most people have both down by now- is this true? Like are most people able to keep their place clean 1 month pp? We are very young parents so I don’t have a frame of reference

My household is currently using AT&T air, the 300mbps plan I believe. We are also using the two in one modem and router that they provide. Problem is, no matter how close to the router we are, the highest we can reach is around 15 download and 10 upload - way lower than what we're paying for. Our house is pretty huge and double floored, though there's only one or two rooms that have bad signal. We are thinking about getting a second router and connecting them via an ethernet cable. None of us really have any clue how wifi works, and this was suggested by my more tech-savvy uncle. From what I've heard a wifi extender would just create more problems and won't boost signal. What would be the best thing to do here? Move the router around? Is it an issue with the provider?
