(spoiler alert) so me (20 f) him (21 m) have been dating for 3 years. we started off as long distance and moved in with each other a little after a year. he did a few months of work after turning 18 then joined the military. he came back not too long ago from being deployed. and to say the least we’re back to long distance because i couldn’t afford living alone in his state. when he would come home he liked to sit on the couch and watch tv with me. he likes it when i catch him up on the shows i’ve been watching. right now it’s supernatural. i love this show and always have but its something i never seemed to finish. this time i wanted to. i called him while watching it. he spoiled the whole show by telling me dean dies at the end. i looked at my phone in disbelief and hung up. i told him i thought he would take this seriously since he likes to hear me talk about whatever it is i’ve watched. that i can’t believe he would ruin something like that for me. so i broke up with him. now he’s trying to tell me it’s not that serious. so reddit aith.

2024.11.26 03:59 VladDracul58519 I thought I got over it [velocicoaster], but maybe not. How do I stamp it out for good?
My family recently went on a trip to Florida. Ive never been a big coaster person, at all. Up until my later teen/adult life I would only go on Disney level rides, and even then it took until my teens i think to do something like Space mountain.
There was a wildcard trip where I went on great white in Texas Sea World (Which I believe is a clone? Same ride as Batman in Six flags MM?)
This trip however, i went beyond what I ever have and then some. I wimped out of the first go on Rip Ride Rocket, but convinced myself to go on it with my wife and some of my family. The next day I just decided to go with it, and went on Hagrids first, then after a few other harry potter rides we went straight to Velocicoaster. The fast pass helped, because it didnt give me as much time to second guess myself, but also the lack of a lift hill mentally makes a big difference for me. Rip Ride Rocket i had timed it so i kept my eyes closed until right at the top of the lift hill.
After that, I pushed through it even though I didnt really want to initially and we went on hulk. While we waited for the rest of my family to catch up me and my wife actually went on it 3x total. After that when we were winding down, because my wife being the coaster fanatic she is, we went back to velocicoaster not once, but twice in a row.
I thought, if I got through this, i should be able to do anything. That was until we got to Six Flags magic mountain a few days later, where i went back into my shell. I went on some of the tamer ones, Like West Coast Racers, and Scream. I think those were the only 2 because it was halloween night and we wanted to do the haunted houses to. I backed down on Full Throttle, Twisted, Tatsu, and X2.
If i could do Velocicoaster 3x, and really enjoy it especially by the third go round, idk what held me back at six flags.
One thing of note...I want to save myself the embarassment because im about 5'6", probably 230 and ive heard twisted might be extremely iffy on if i can really get on it or not. Any tips to try and really get passed this? Im in my late 30s and i feel like age wise if i really wanted to enjoy these things because my life absolutely loves them, now is the time

Hey i’m a 23 y/o recent pgh transplant looking for a dentist because my teeth have been hurting a lot recently.
For reference i’m autistic, can be sensitive, and have an eating disorder history so im aware my teeth are shit (I’ve already been told I have early stage periodontal disease from years of not brushing due to depression) so I’d really appreciate a dentist who is nonjudgmental about it all. I also never saw the dentist as a kid bc my family couldn’t afford it.
I live around oakland and I have dental insurance so that’s not an issue. I just know if I have a bad experience I’ll shut down and it’ll take me a while to try again so I wanna maximise my chances the first time of finding an understanding dentist. Also someone available on weekends would be nice but I’m willing to make the time on weekdays if they’re really good.
Also I’m not wanting someone to lie to me. Just someone who doesn’t yell at and make me feel bad for something I already know. I brush everyday and floss frequently, it’s just not easy to reverse gum damage.

running on $74k a year.
i have a HECS debt that’s ~40k
my mortgage is ~250k and is currently an investment property (being rented out to a friend)
i’ve always thought clearing my mortgage was the obvious priority - but the more i pay it off, then the less interest i pay (which is great but means less tax deductions)
sorry i’m not heaps finance-literate, so would appreciate advice/opinions!
