I've just been so alone. I've been trying all the things I that people recommend but none of it really works out. Currently I'm on break from studying and spend most the day being utterly miserable and unproductive. I haven't really met anyone from university and the main way to socialize in my city is just parties really. I really can't stand the noise or smell and I just know going to one is a way quick way to get a panic attack.
There's a few social meet ups but none of them are really things I'm interested in, I avoid the ones I know I'll hate like the crypto cults and only go to ones I can tolerate but I never even get to talk at all, everyone just seems to bring their friends and form little circles. All they ever really do is cement how alone I am and I've always left more depressed than I arrived. At the moment I just go to the occasional group meet up knowing I don't belong there hoping I bump into someone just as lost and desperate as me.
It'll be awhile until courses start again and I have a sliver of a chance of meeting someone and for now it genuinely seems like the only way to meet anyone in this broken world is trying a stupid dating app. For reference, I'm aroace and at points I find romance to be a genuinely disgusting idea, I don't want anything like a romantic relationship but fishing for one on a flipsy bit of addictive software seems like the only way to not be as miserable. I know what it'll look like though: What little self esteem I have will be decimated by a series of rejections that might eventually lead to a date which will probably lead to a ghosting and if I'm really lucky I'll get to be in a relationship I don't actually want but some part of me needs.
I really wish there was some other option available to have a conversation with someone on the same landmass as me but there really doesn't seem to be anything. Should I just bite the bullet and start using the damn things or just, I don't even know what the other option is, rot here I suppose.

Okay I’m new here hopefully this isn’t a repetitive post, but I need help! I’m primarily breastfeeding, however I try to give a bottle of pumped milk once or twice a day either first thing in the morning or right before bed. If I give my baby a bottle, I will pump since I didn’t nurse. I have the momcozy m5 and I love them. I consistently get 6-10oz depending on time of day and when I last nursed. I also got the Spectra S2 with my insurance and everyone says the spectra is medical grade and therefore the best…? Tonight my momcozy was dirty so I used the spectra and I got 2oz between BOTH boobs. I’m only one month PP so I’m still very hormonal and I seriously had a meltdown. I could’ve gotten more milk with my haakaa or even hand expressing seriously… I thought maybe my supply was dwindling or I was just empty but no… my boobs were leaking all day and when I took the pump off and hand expressed, tons of milk came out. So what the heck is the deal with this pump? Is it user error???? I did have to order smaller flanges and they haven’t arrived yet. Could that be the reason it literally doesn’t work for me?! Im about 5 seconds away from chucking this thing at the wall 😭

Hey everyone, I’ve been doing some research on winter tires, really need them where I am, and haven’t been finding any suggestions that seem to work. I went down the rabbit hole of the Falken Windpeak but they are all terrain tires that don’t seem to perform well for icey/snow conditions based on YouTube reviews, although people’s mileage seems to vary.
I am looking forward dedicated snow tires. My vehicle has the active suspension, which I use atleast once a week.
Any suggestions here for tires in Canada?

Platform: I remember it being a disc for a computer, unsure if it was on anything else
Genre: I believe its point and click, it wasnt a “horror” game but it was scary for my young mind
Estimated year of release: I played it when I was a kid, so I’d say anywhere from 90s- 2010 at the latest. It’s a long shot I know lol
Graphics/art style: it felt more realistic than cartoonish
Notable characters: I don’t remember if there were many characters, but i remember there was a female ghost, looked kinda Victorian I think lol
Notable gameplay mechanics: it was an I spy type of game. I don’t remember MUCH but I do remember having to find 3 pieces of a broken plate. I don’t recall exactly how, but they were hidden around
Other details: I was a YOUNG child playing this game on my grandmas old computer, so it’s a foggy memory but I’d for sure remember it if I seen it. All I remember was that it was some old haunted mansion and I had to find pieces of things hidden around, specifically a plate broken into like 3 parts and finding it in a kitchen I think. I’m not sure if it was room by room that you had to search or if you could move around to different areas. I don’t think you were able to look around or anything, just a flat screen with things hidden around. This is a VERY long shot since it’s coming from a 6 year olds memory lol
