2024.11.26 03:24 OpneFall Why is there still current in my GFCI circuit with the breaker off?
This has happened twice to me in my house, with two different gfci circuits
Both of them had been turned off at the breaker. But when working on them, I get surprised by live current. Or this time, by a shower of sparks.
And then when I go to turn the circuit back on, just the one switch box I was working on is dead. Every other outlet on the breaker works. I go back to the breaker box and I see a separate circuit was tripped (it's labeled "Gfci")
Why is this happening?

I completed the last two Expeditions, which were very fun. During them, I saw a lot of player bases but I also saw quite a few Planetary Settlements.
I was wondering why folks are creating Settlements during Expeditions? They seem like they take a lot of time and are somewhat pointless so I can't figure out why people are making them, especially during an Expedition, away from their main save?

2024.11.26 03:24 4ermione My Gyno Finally agreed to a Lap
My gynecologist somehow finally decided to look into my constant pain after I went to the ER. She still thinks it’s a GI related issue but I’ve been following up with my GI and he’s planning to try a colonoscopy on me.
Gyno got me to do an MRI. They found nothing (what a waste of $300 smh). I get a phone call from her about the results. They couldn’t find anything so she’s squeezing me in for a pre-Op consultation for a lap. She says this is an absolute last resort and asked me if I wanted to have a copper IUD placed on me while she does the surgery.
Then she gets into telling me that she’d like to prescribe me an antidepressant. I’m kinda confused as she goes “well sometimes the physical pain can affect your brain. An antidepressant can help with that” and puts me on Buporion (Wellbutrin).
There’s no way that Endo is making me crazy, is there?
I got a call to schedule the pre-Op consultation and it’s the same time as my appointment with one of the successful doctors from this subreddit. If I reschedule, the earliest opening is in March. Idk if I can just go to the other doctor and explain my case to him. I made that appointment with him when my current gyno wasn’t taking my pain seriously.
Anyways at least I’m finally getting a lap? Yay me! 🙏🏼

I was thinking about doing vocational studies next year in rmit either a diploma or a cert IV specifically in screen and media, and I just wanted to ask what is the work load like for each of them for full time studies. I’m just asking because I have OCD and ADHD and it can rly effect my studies and I dont really wanna be overwhelmed with stress to the point I cant enjoy my studies. I have read that vocational studies is a breeze in some places but from other places Ive seen some posts here of people doing diplomas and being completely overwhelmed by the work and the pace to the point of them dropping out I was just wondering what is the workload really like for them? How many days and hours for each day for full time vocational studies? And last thing is there any difference in the workload of a cert IV from a diploma? Thanks
