Transfer student in computational biology. I am a first year transfer student and I’m enrolled in CS 31–totally failing rn. I want to switch my major to something easy bc I’m gonna be going to dental school anyways. What majors do you think I can switch to bc all the majors I’ve chosen says im not eligible to switch. I’ve talked to a couple of counselors and they haven’t rlly given me a good/direct answer. I rlly don’t like cs that much and for my first cs class it totally ruined it for me. I just wanna get steered into the right direction and don’t want to make a stupid decision. Plz help, considering dropping cs 31.

I’m so depressed I’m suffering so much on the inside. I try so damn hard to improve my social cues and my mental health, which never works at all. I’m in tears and I can’t stop with meltdowns, feeling exiled from society, and out of place. How can we ever survive this? I feel so fragile, disoriented, and lost. I have no friends or relationship for me to socialize or be with. I get scared about my future once I ever become independent. How do we cope with this? 😰

Hi there! This is my first time posting on reddit so please don't mind me if I list out anything incorrectly.
Here is some context for my issues - I have been extracting RNA from Galleria mellonella hemolymph using the TriZol method.
- I have been facing issues where I don't really see any pellet from upon addition of isopropanol at the RNA Precipitation phase nor at the RNA wash step when adding 75% v/v ethanol.
- My concentration values for the samples are also very low ranging from 0.06 to 0.259 for A260/A230 ratios and 1.2 to 1.7 for A260/A280 ratios
- Due to this (I'm assuming) I'm unable to get any bands on 1% agarose gel.
Please do let me know if I am missing out any important details, would love any kinds of feedback or suggestions.

Being a professor of game design, occasionally I get inspired by my courses to make stuff. This game came out of a brainstorming session in class, where I fleshed it out later into what it is now. A lot of my inspirations were Gaslands and Malifaux, and I remixed a lot of One Page Rules as the foundation.
My goal was to make something that focused more on what I love, the conversions or kitbashing of making models for the game. And also create a game that I could play with my kids or my students who have no experience with wargames at all.
