Title. This guy is also anti-NATO and anti-UE, the Romanian stock market crashed just by him passing #1 in the presidential voting stage. There is also a high chance that his newly made party win the parliament. He came overnight with no warning and has a cult like behavior among his supporters.
My income right now is foreign based, which might change due to this guy. What is the best way to prep? I am talking about being ready for the worst. Hopefully I won't need it, but I definitely do not want to miss it.

Hello!
I recently bought a Kobo Libre Colour because I've been wanting to transition to a color-compatible eReader while also distancing myself from the Amazon machine (No matter how much I loved my kindle).
Today was my first day playing with the KLC. I figured I'd spend a whole day transferring everything so I can get back to reading seamlessly ASAP, so I've been converting my files to calibre from 8 AM til now at nearly 10:30PM. (Nearly all my books are Kindle AZW3, Fanfic ePubs, and Manga cbz files.)
I had no issues getting everything sent over and displaying/reading properly on the device, but I've been experiencing the KLC freezing on the "Sleeping" screen multiple times throughout the day. And I mean, straight up no longer responsive and the buttons won't wake the device. Sometimes the screen will get brighter but I can only get it back to regular function after holding the power button and doing a hard restart.
I'm not sure if this is normal or not?
I'm new to the KOBO ecosphere, I'm not sure if this is something I should be worried about long term? Does this sound like a device defect? Or does the device not do well with majority sideloaded content? Or did I just overstimulate my device by transferring so many files in one day?
I'm trying to get a good gauge on whether or not I should get a replacement device before the return window closes. Or if this glitch is normal because of today's activities.
All knowledge and advice is very much appreciated! Thank you in advance! :D

2024.11.26 04:24 kjjphotos My thoughts after my first full re-watch in over 8 years
I started watching Stargate in the mid to late 2000s when I was in high school. I think I've done two or three full re-watches and have frequently re-watched bits and pieces over the years (mostly Atlantis and SGU). This post ended up being a lot longer than anticipated but I still feel like sharing it.
SG-1 SG-1 was my favorite this time around. It has the most satisfying ending when factoring in The Ark of Truth to wrap everything up. I think seasons 3-5 were my absolute favorites. It was more obvious to me on this re-watch when Richard Dean Anderson started taking a step back in season 6 or 7. I don't fault him for that AT ALL, but the show was better with him in it.
Daniel and Jack were my favorite characters. I like Sam and Tea'lc a lot too but the back and forth between Daniel and Jack make them my favorite.
I would have liked a few more seasons with Ben Browder and Claudia Black though. I didn't like the character of Vala much in the beginning of season 9 but she had grown on me by the end of season 10. I may have to give Farscape another shot.
Atlantis Atlantis was my favorite Stargate show when the shows were still airing. It's a good show but I wish it had more variety as far as aliens go. I know the Wraith control the Pegasus Galaxy and wipe out any civilization that fights back or poses a threat to them but it made the galaxy feel small. The Goa'uld were similar in the Milky Way but we still had plenty of unique aliens and worlds to explore.
I also found it kind of annoying that they'd constantly put McKay in an impossible situation and he'd miraculously save the day somehow. I guess that's a trope of Atlantis that bothers me now that I can binge watch the entire show in a few weeks as opposed to one episode each week.
Ronon was probably my favorite character in Atlantis. Second place would be a toss up between McKay and Keller. I liked Jewel Staite in Firefly so there's a little bias toward Keller there.
SGU I was in the minority when Stargate Universe originally aired. I loved it. I was a senior in high school when Atlantis ended and in college when Universe aired so I was probably the prime audience for the show. I still like it a lot but I can understand why long time fans didn't care for it back in 2009.
At the time, Eli Wallace was my favorite character. He felt relatable to me. But on this re-watch, I actually didn't like him as much. Maybe it's because he was so relatable to 18 year old me, but his character seemed really cringey. I wish he didn't spend so much time hung up on Chloe. His growth from episode 1 to the finale was good though. He matured a lot over those 2 years.
I'm not very fond of the communication stones being used the way they were used in Universe. Drinking and having sex while in someone else's body seems really icky. I would have preferred it if they had reverse engineered the link between the stones to send video and radio signals back to earth rather than an entire consciousness.
Otherwise, I felt like the show was a good representation of what would happen when a large group of unprepared people find themselves on an ancient space ship on the other side of the universe. Yes show was dark and serious but I think the premise of the show warranted it. I think it would have turned into a copy of Atlantis if they had kept it lighthearted and funny with each episode having a happy ending.
I think season three should have introduced a supply line from Earth or another civilization because these people definitely need new clothes after being on that ship for two years. And surely they are almost out of ammunition, right?
Picking a favorite character now is hard, but I think I have to go with Ronald Greer. The scene where he tried the alien sweet potato and pretended like it was amazing so everyone else would eagerly taste it was one of my favorite moments in the show. He didn't hesitate to donate a kidney either. I think he would quite literally die for everyone on the crew if needed (minus the Lucian Alliance).
I'm still not over the cancellation of Universe. The show was just starting to get good when they pulled the plug. I think they should have at least given it one more season to redeem itself. In my head, the Destiny fell short of the next galaxy and is now drifting in the void with the crew in suspended animation. That's the only way I can be at peace with the ending 13 years after the show ended.

I had my copper iud for almost a year. I hated every period they were extremely heavy and long. I got it removed and went back to the depo shot(controversial but it works best for me). I got the shot around the time my next period would hit. Now a month later I started having dark brown spotting thought it was just my period or the copper iud leftovers. However day 4 I noticed black dark grey blood. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this? It’s hard to get in to see a doctor so I want to know if I’m okay or just experiencing iud removal symptoms.

I've been seeing my therapist for a little over two years, and I've missed another session today, I feel really bad because I also missed a session a few weeks ago and they are going on break for the rest of the week, plus I have finals next week and I really needed that session. I sent them a message as soon as I realized, but I don't think I'll hear back from them. I don't know how I'll be able to function with all this stress and nowhere to channel all these unwanted emotions and distractions.
