2024.11.26 04:34 mnreginald 2005 Corolla - no bounce in 1 wheen.
 | My 2005 Toyota Corolla today drive home different. The front drivers side wheel made a hard thud over virtually every bump driving home as if there was zero bounce. Drove slow, made it the 1.5mi home. Low and behold I was right - trying to bounce/rock each corner led to zero vertical movement on that front left corner. It's dark/late and my phone barely focuses... so pardon the garbage shot, I'll follow with better ones tomorrow. Anyway onto the question - the rubber shroud/shielding or whatever is gone/torn, and the spring doesn't appear broken and there's no apparent leak in the area, but is this a seized shock absorber? Thoughts? It's an '05 with 125k mi on it, so while I'd hate to call anything a loss here, I also just don't have $2k for a sudden expanded either. So, I have had a crush on this girl on and off for about a year and a half, but recently I can't tell if it's mutual. She asked me if I was doing fine on Friday when something bad happened, so I think she at least sees me as a good friend, but she also doesn't talk to me as much when there's a lot of other people. I told her a lot of things that have happened to me, and she said she was really sorry I went through that stuff and asked me if they could do anything to make it better, and I said that I just don't want her to leave because my life might be falling apart again, and she kind of reassured me that she won't leave. She sometimes makes eye contact and she sometimes might be looking at other people in my direction. When she's talking to others and I look at her she sometimes continues to talk to them while making eye contact and it's weird but also cool and also confusing. Does anybody have any idea of what's happening? What should I do?

hi guys!
i recently stopped by an electronics store to check out the Px7 S2e’s and i absolutely loved the sound and design. which is why i was super disappointed when i realized that the earcups just don’t sit well on my head. i had a friend with me and she noticed the same issue. the earcups don’t completely seal around my ears and they hang off the bottom, leaving a huge space right behind my jaw where sound escapes. it ruins the ANC experience and gives me major sensory issues lmao.
it seems like this has been talked about before but i haven’t seen a clear solution to this. the Px7 S2e’s are exactly what i’m looking for in terms of headphones and if it weren’t for this issue i would buy them right away. this seems like a huge design flaw and i’ve seen people say that “they’re just not made for your head shape” in response to this, which i don’t think is a great response for a pair of mass-produced headphones that are supposed to be user-friendly.
please help me out! i really want these!

Hello everyone, I saw a couple of people post recently on this subreddit and others about Arab smoke shops and whats going on behind the scenes and why theres so many of them. I am a family member of a large family that has a Monopoly on smoke shops all over West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania (and maybe others too, but idk i don't work with them). And just know, every single thing you've heard about them (money laundering, drug trafficking, etc) is 100000% true. Our family is originally from Yemen, and they spread across states like wildfire to open up these smoke shops. Its a huge family (more of a "clan", 300~ members in the US) the amount of money they make vs the amount they pay taxes on is actually mind boggling, thats why whenever someone says the IRS knows how much you I seriously can't help but laugh.

I’m seeing a real loss of joy in almost everything. They are pretty lethargic, not able to do much. I don’t know exacts on diet but would seem it is very low on caloric intake, and protein low. Next to no activity. Vomiting at times. It’s a vicious cycle it seems, you get queasy and vomit, then don’t want to eat, then too weak to do anything…..
First levels were pretty rough the first couple of days and then better, and by later injections of each feeling week. On week 4 of 10 now though and all of these have been pretty rough almost the whole time. Losing weight along the way.
I am sympathetic that this is hard, but I think it is really hurting them mentally. I’m doing my best to tolerate the rudeness and shortness that goes with this, but it is increasingly hurting our children. I just don’t know what to do or how to bring it up.
