I logged onto Dandy's world and suddenly there was no sound. No sound effects, no music, no nothing. I checked the ingame settings, not muted. Roblox settings, not muted. Heck, even my phone wasn't muted. I got on to another game and it had the same problem. I tried many tutorials on youtube but nothing seemed to work.

I had a defiant employee tell me today that I cannot drop off my Dell laptop with Walgreens for FedEx because it had a battery in it. I have dropped at least 10 of these off at random Walgreens all over my city (I work in IT and have to mail damaged laptops in for repairs) and no one has ever denied me service on that type of package.
Coming here to see if someone can tell me if this employee was just on a power trip for the day or if that’s really the case. Should I start trying to find another place to drop these off if that is the policy? I searched the Walgreens website page for the FedEx service and saw nothing directly that says that.
I don’t mind doing whatever the policy is, but this was so out of left field because I have dropped so many of these off at so many different Walgreens and no one has ever stopped me like she did. She refused to take the package and I found it to be a little ridiculous.

I saw the Taurie's traditional robes outfit in the launch trailer and thought it looked cool as hell, though I preferred it without the mask. Was going to look at its price and maybe buy it when I logged on today, only to realize it's yet another linked set and it's impossible to take the mask off. Completely killed any desire I had to buy the outfit.
Was gonna spend 10 bucks, now I'm not spending anything. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who decides not to buy due to linked sets. You're literally throwing away money, BHVR.

I was chilling in the living room when suddenly, an unmistakable poop smell hit me out of nowhere. You know the one. So, I got up and started hunting for the scene of the crime. Checked every room upstairs—nothing. Then I went downstairs, and the smell hit me like a truck. I almost passed out. But still, no poop in sight. We’re in the middle of moving, and some of the wooden beams from our new bed frame are temporarily stored downstairs. These beams have random holes routed into the underside—don’t ask me why, I have no idea what they’re for. And Jack? This little genius managed to poop perfectly into one of those holes. Not a single smear around the edges. Absolute precision. How he thought of this, I’ll never know. Evil genius? Natural talent? Either way, his execution was flawless. The worst part? The holes don’t go all the way through. So there I was, spending my evening scooping out Jack’s “chocolate pudding” from a wooden bed beam. I don’t know whether to be mad, impressed, or both. Disclaimer: English is not my first language so I apologise for grammar and spelling mistakes.
I am a first time DM playing Curse of Strahd with 7 (originally 8) players. I know that that's a lot of players and I would have preferred it, if there were less players. It is what it is.
Most of my players are knew to DnD (and any other tabletop games for that matter). The original "cast" constisted of: 1) an elf cleric 2) a dragonborn paladin 3) an elf wizard (who turned into a humanoid frog) 4) a tiefling warlock/fighter 5) a tiefling rouge/warlock 6) a goliath fighter 7) a shadar-kai rouge 8) a half-elf barde Background information: Number 7 and 8 are dating. Number 7 and 8 are the only ones with experience in pen & paper.
Everyone is quite happy with the way that I structure the session. Number 8 stopped playing due to him not liking DnD and his character. I offered to have him build a new character but he declined stating that he is not really into tabletop games.
The sessions are rather long (shortest was 3 hours, longest 9 hours), but the players are the ones who decide the length of each session. We play online and I use owlbear to visualise encounters and maps. We also use dndbeyond.
The current issue:
Number 7 seems to dislike roleplay. She does not only seem to dislike actively roleplaying but also the existence of roleplay in general (even if only the others do it). She dislikes "long" stretches of roleplay or dialogue heavy gameplay. I don't know whether she just hates roleplay in general or if it's due to her character being antisocial.
I asked her how I can accommodate her preferences and she stated that she would prefer more combat and more "riddles". The group dislikes unnaccisary random encounters and I don't know how to force even more storyline based combat (we only ever had one session without combat).
Now to the "riddle"-part. The word she used was in german ("Rätsel") which is less focused on verbal riddles and just generally means "puzzle", "problem" or "mystery". I don't know what exactly she could mean by that. Roleplay/dialogue based riddles/puzzles are no option due to her hate for roleplay. We played Death House and she did not participate in finding the secret passages and meanings. So she popably doesn't mean location/room based riddles/puzzles either. Two sessions ago I homebrewed a verbal riddle and had them decipher it in order to find some tresure. She did not participate. What kind of riddles could she mean? Do you guys have any ideas?
