My boyfriend didn’t treat me well for the first 5 months into our relationship, especially for the first 3-4 months. He would compare me to his exes and tell me how hard it was for him to just and understand me because I was so different to them. He told me he was disappointed in me and even embarrassed of me because I wasn’t as social / party person like he and his exes were. This is my first relationship so each time he did this I tried harder and harder to change myself, eventually he stopped and apologised. He has changed since but hates how I bring up the past when I try to tell him how hurt I was because I would have never done the same towards him just because he wasn’t my type and that we were different. I kept asking him to be honest with me and today he told me how initially in our relationship he wasn’t that into me because of our differences. I believe that none of this would have happened if I was his type in the first place, my self esteem has gone so low and I can’t stop comparing myself to the people he used to date. He tries to comfort me but I feel like my statement was true, he would have treated me better if I was who he wanted. It hurts so much and I don’t know what to do, my parents live abroad and I have no friends in this new city I live in. I know it’s pathetic to rely on Reddit but here I am. I love him so much and I want things to work.

Honestly, I wasn't the biggest fan of this take on the TMNT and was opposed to it at first, but there were some great moments and the Turtles made me laugh more than I cared to admit. I personally found the movie to be way better than Mutant Mayhem. It still seems to be the cool thing to hate on though.

So I'm on my second playthrough, and after having obliterated her in my first one not knowing shes a recruitable companion, I've finally recruited Minthara into my party.
However I notice she's by default a Vengeance Paladin. And while that makes a lot of sense I was wondering since she's supposed to be from a powerful house in the drow capital of Menzoberranzan, if maybe Assassin Rogue could also fit her. If only because I have a lot of Rogue centric gear lying around that Asterion isn't using : P
My main concern is she potentially has dialogue that wouldn't make sense if I changed her class much like Wyll or Gale, who both have very warlock/wizard heavy dialogue respectively.

How do you take care of sensitive skin?
I have to have showers constantly but I find im always clammy or humid in body temperature?
It doesn't matter what temperature the water at too I think sweat too much it almost feels like I'm in a constant anxiety riddled state which isn't far from the truth lol
But I don't imagine that's the cause of my skin sensitivity?
Even during winter it gets bad as well like I can never win
I also live in Australia I practically die in the summer heat lol

A month ago I felt like I was loosing her, I kept asking if something was wrong or why she wasn't as interested in me as before. For context I'm about to go to Uni she's still in school, we have been in a relationship for 2-3 years majority of which went great, although I'm the serious one of the two and I know that I love her more(not because she's out of my league or something, never felt like that, but ig there has always been an imbalance). Now I have a lot more time than her and fewer people to hang out with everyday because everyone is busy in their colleges. One day she texted I think we should be friends, we might come back together later. She wanted to be free and she felt like I was holding her back. I didn't take it well because I was at my most vulnerable state, after 2-3 days when we were hanging out she checked my phone to see my texts from her friend who is also my friend, because of this I felt like I should also check her phone to see her texts with her guy friend (he became extremely close to her as we were about to break up and her reason for the breakup was that she wanted to be free and didn't desire a relationship anymore with anyone for a while). As soon as I checked her phone I saw a text in which she texted him "i love you", then and there felt extremely betrayed. After a few melodramatic text messages from my side, she claimed that the text was "platonic" and there's nothing going on between the two of them. I didn't believe her at the moment and I still don't know for sure.
Right now because I have 3 months here before going to university, I still don't understand what should I do, she wants to be friends with me and she still says that she loves me but I don't value her words anymore, but I'm at a state where I'm really vulnerable and I need her the most right now, Although logically I should stop talking to her and I did for the past 4-5 days but I don't know what to do anymore, I feel like talking to her might help and just being friends with her might help but deep down I know I want her back because I have no one else right now. Should I give this a shot?
PS: I know I'm not old enough for being serious about someone. Because of all this I am able to focus on my projects and work before joining University.

This game is so much fun, i can't wait for there to be objectives or actual progression like dark souls like. But for now i would love to be able to choose exactly what gear i or the bots are wearing i want to chop people in half with a giga long sword but can't because the long sword is locked to heavy armor set. Can't wait for this game to progress i hope development is going well there is huge potential for the game

I'm primarily an Arch user (obligatory I use Arch btw) with the occasional use of Ubuntu for projects that necessitate ease of use. I recently got a laptop that I'm going to use for teaching myself programming and I had issues with certain IDEs on Ubuntu and Arch so I figured I'd give Fedora a try for the first time ever. My question is mainly if I should go with one of the labs that seem to be bundled for programming like the Python one or if I'd be better off just getting a regular installer and installing all that stuff myself. Are there any benefits other than simply convenience?

2024.11.26 06:55 Equinumerous Why I will be using SCF instead of ACF
This is going to be a bit of a controversial post, since a lot of people here are in support of WP Engine and Silver Lake Capital. But I'll just bite the bullet and clarify my position.
There's no reason to use ACF Free anymore When SCF only had the free features you could make the argument that it didn't matter. In fact you could argue that ACF Free was better because SCF was hastily put together (as made clear my the old ACF logo and whatnot).
But now SCF has all the features of ACF Pro (which includes Options Pages, and 5 extra fields: notably the repeater field and the flexible field). And while it's still a bit crude, it's still in the beta. Give it a few months and it will be just as good as ACF Pro.
In fact it might even become better because plugins and themes will be able to integrate the features without having worrying about licensing issues (e.g. BricksBuilder had this issue with ACF Pro half a year ago).
Unless you have a lifetime license, there's no reason to use ACF Pro anymore For those of you who are not in the know, 4 years ago when Elliot Condon (the original creator of ACF) owned ACF he offered two lifetime licenses ($25 for 1 site, $100 for unlimited sites) but when Delicious Brains took over they removed these offers and bumped the price to $50/year and $250/year respectively. Delicious Brains was then bought out by WP Engine.
Why do I bring this up? Because the main argument for why you should get ACF Pro is "you need to support the developers," but this is mainly pushed by people who have lifetime licenses and don't themselves support the developers.
In fact, when WP Engine acquired Delicious Brains they sent out emails to lifetime license holders requesting them to support the developers and the overwhelming answer was: "No!" In fact, WPTuts made a video justifying why he shouldn't have to support the developers because he bought a lifetime license for $100. This is interesting because WPTuts is one of those people who will tell you to buy ACF Pro and support the developers. In other words, "Rules for thee, not for me."
But not only that, ACF Pro is more expensive than any other premium plugin for CPT and CF, and subscription prices are not grandfathered or guaranteed. If they raise the price from $250/year to $300/year that's what you'll have to pay.
Oh, and if you don't have an active license not only won't you receive updates or support, you even won't be able to use the plugin at all (this is a recent feature implemented by Delicious Brains to get people back on the subscription despite not adding anything of value for the last year).
But SCF is stolen!
- It's legal.
- It's easily accessible through the .org repository.
- There's no subscription.
- It's free.

Yamaha FSX800C Small-Body A/E Guitar $360
Current guitar is a Yamaha FX335C Dreadnought (bought before i knew what a dreadnought was). My arm gets tired as a 5'3" female.
I mainly play unplugged at home but I really prefer cutaway so that's why i leaned toward A/E as theres not many acoustic only choices with cutaways.
Advice and opinions wanted!
