I'm looking to get an Ipad for rhythm games this black friday, and had some questions about refresh rate. I'm pretty sensitive to changes in refresh rate, but my main monitor is 165, and my phone is 120, so I haven't used 60hz in a long time. The 2 I'm comparing are the Ipad air, and pro from 2024, and was wondering if this is noticeable in rhythm games, if it makes patterns harder to read, touch latency, smoothness, etc. If anyone has experience in this, plz let me know which one I should get, as the only thing turning me off of the pro is the insane price tag.

I (25M) recently found out that my ex (24F), who I dated for 3 years, got engaged just 4 months after we broke up. It’s been tough to process, and honestly, it stings more than I thought it would.
During our relationship, I gave her everything—my time, my energy, my love. I even went above and beyond financially, spending a lot on gifts, trips, and things she wanted. I never kept score, but now I can’t help but feel like everything I invested meant nothing in the end.
I know people move on, and I’m not saying she doesn’t have the right to be happy. But it’s hard to wrap my head around how someone you shared years with can move on so quickly. Was I that easy to replace?
I’m not here to bash her or ask for pity. I just needed to vent because this has been weighing on me. How do you deal with something like this? How do you move past feeling like all your efforts were in vain?
If anyone has been through something similar, I’d love to hear how you handled it.

Hey guys. This has probably been asked a hundred times and I apologize if it has. I'm a firefighter paramedic currently on a busy city med unit. I graduated years ago with a bachelors degree in Molecular Bio. I love my job but there's no more upward momentum, I've maxed out my income and I dunno, headspace, in public safety. I've done all I can and I want to do more. My current goal is to repeat pre-req classes that expired with the 10 year deadline for math and science. Its around 10 classes roughly. I'm an old man now, 35 white male (ha).. My GPA from university wasn't great but I have the opportunity (due to expiration of the 10 year deadline math and science) to repeat these pre-reqs. My question is pretty simple. Is it worth my time to pursue PA? Will I be wasting a year or more redoing classes for a program I'll never get into? Or with academic excellence in these prereqs and years of real world experience, do I stand a chance of getting in somewhere? I'm not one to quit anything. When I start, I finish. I need to know if i'm pursuing something I can't achieve, honestly, but I also need to know if there's a chance I can get into one of these programs (I'm flexible, any will do) and if there's a chance than I will pursue it. Secondarily, I can leave the fire dept and work at a level 1 trauma center which I have close personal contacts in the area if beneficial while working through pre-reqs. Please comment or DM with your opinions. You won't hurt my feelings, I just want honesty. I could transfer to nursing and NP route much easier, but nothing easy is worth working for. Thank you, and sorry that this has been asked so many times before.

2024.11.26 06:55 Hmmm_nicebike659 I want to talk to my therapist about something happened over the weekend, but this Thursday will be my final session (termination session).
For context, I’m mid 20s M, have a career but still living with parents. My dog scratched my car while I was working on my dash cam inside my car. The scratch was deep and I could still hear the sound inside my head. Anyways I got so mad I yelled at her. I even threw something at her. The worst part of the whole thing was that my mum heard that and gaslit me saying I didn’t take good care of my car and told me I should move out. I had the right to be angry after what my dog done to my car. Needless to say she felt guilty after all that. I felt remorseful at what I did to her during heat of moment.
Anyways, if my next session wasn’t the final session I would’ve talked with my therapist about this. Not feeling with finding another replacement though, unless it’s a financial therapist with CBT approach.
Unfortunately there isn’t any in Malaysia.
