Im 19. I ABSOLUTELY need to save up for college and leave my mf house.
But I can’t stop spending. I love money but I love buying shit more.
I have like 13 dollars in my bank account rn. Had a thousand in my savings but that’s all gone now.
Bought a 350$ rabbit cage
60$ litter box for my bun
Bought a 395$ red light therapy mask
Bought a new bed base and mattress for 250$
Bought this two in one hair dryer and styling thingie for $60
I can’t stop spending. There’s just always something I want or need.
And if I know I have money I can’t stop thinking about it. I keep itching to spend it so much that I open my bank app multiple times a day just to check on the number to see if I should spend my stupid measly 13 fucking dollars or not.
I’m so frustrated with myself and I love the stuff I buy so much in the moment but then regret it sm when I see my bank account.
I am not returning my stuff tho bc I love getting expensive and pretty things.
I’m so lucky I’m not allowed to wear jewelry or I’d be in severe debt. I mean have you seen the Louis Vuitton necklaces oh my goodness.
I love love LOVE shiny things.
The worst part is I buy things on impulse. I can’t help it.
Please give me tips on how to save money. More specifically how to get rid of this impulse buying habit.
I’ve started putting my debit cards in the most inconvenient places but they were annoying to get so I took a picture of them and have them on my phone easy access now.

Is there any way to take synarel off of my prescription? I did NOT realise how expensive it is (£94 ?!!@(&/&/£) if i only have to buy it once every few months then i can manage it but oh dear!!! I’ll contact GGP if that’s the only way to do it.
To clarify, I did ask for synarel but the price was different online compared to what i’m looking at on the invoice so i would like to remove that.

Gastos sa pamasahe, almost 200 pesos. - Mas mataas lang ng 500 yung package salary sa Company B. - 20% ND, with 14th month pay after regularization, day 1 HMO
Company B: - WFH, seasonal acc. Equipment provided. - Passed the final interview, kaso I received message from them yesterday na finafollow-up sa akin 'yung 2nd assessment ko, ang weird lang kasi tapos ko na sya last week, pero twice sila nagfollow-up. The first ff, I sent them a proof na I am 100% done with the 2nd assessment. So, to make sure, I retake the assessment yesterday. - I messaged the recruiter earlier through viber to ask for an update kasi hindi na 'ko nakareceive ng email from them kahapon, and ang sabi is wait ko raw 'yung message and call from this recruiter regarding sa JO.
Now, the case is I can't decide if I should let go the first company and mag-wait sa JO ni Company B or i-grab ko na ba si Company A since gusto ko ng magka-work before end ng year.

I decided to stop with the development of the app “Nomad limit” for now.
This app was about to give digital nomads and travelers the ability to track their stay limit time in multiple countries and to be able to predict it for future travels.
The main reason is legal, it’s my first project and I feel that I need to be responsible about what I’m delivering here, if anything will go wrong (and it most likely will🙂) I don’t want it to be legal and will effect on people like that.
The good news tho are that it’s not a quitting the race, it’s just to develop a new horse to gamble on.
I took a look at my Notion’s “Startup ideas list” and I have a really cool idea (and pretty simple, fast and will let me learn a lot), It’s to make yourself more creative when you are not, what it does is basically a chat where you say something like “I need to design a website for hotels and I don’t have idea” And it will give you ideas but the catch is that it will extremely push it to the edge, if the hotels are for travels it can give you an idea like “a hotel in a backpack that you carry on yourself” or “ turtle (that take his home with him). It will be some kick for your creativity.
I will try to find a good LLM API to use that will be free, if I remember correctly, Google’s LLM is free up to 20 requests but I will check that, (worst case I will start with some 20 requests per user for free plan with GPT and more will be with paid plan.

Right now, these are my most used lights, so I don’t think I have a need to display my entire light collection, which is pretty big. Just like my knife collection, the majority of it is in pelican cases, but I have a display for my most used knives in EDC gear that I rotate out. At some point I might integrate charging, but I use an external battery charger most of the time and I also have another charging station somewhere else, so for right now it’s not needed. this was a fun little project and fitting each cut out to a specific light was really fun. I will upload this design soon, though it will only be useful for people who have this exact collection of lights lol.
