2024.11.26 07:30 Business-Bug-514 Banned from the match sub due to a lame joke:
Hello, M23 here. Has anyone else had problems with that sub? They seem to take themselves way too seriously.
I was in the cougar chat thread thingy, and I saw some wholesome images and gifs, and said, "I like the wholesome images and gifts(typo)."
I corrected it to gifs, and someone wrote, "You should've stuck with 'gifts' lol." (I thought they were joking about sgar m*ma stuff.)
Then I'd wrote, "Lol well gifts are nice, I gotta get a sgar mma!"
And they banned me just for this joke I made. For the record, I've never mentioned anything like that in any of my posts or anything I'd written in the chat previously. I'd made a few lame flirtatious comments in the chat, but mostly all I talked about was gardening.
The ban message also had a snarky comment about me being a gold-digger, which was obviously written by an insecure older woman.

Looking to purchase a pair but not sure if they look feminine or not. The link here.
I also don't know why GM gotta plaster their logo all over the place. I know other companies do the same but I prefer something like Lilit 01 where it doesn't advertise "GENTLE MONSTER" on the side.
I wonder if there is a way to order them without the logo but likely not.
And since we're on the topic here, is it possible to order like the the bare frames and even lenses from the manufacturer?
For me it's really about the Asian Fit not necessarily the maker, GM. It makes no difference to me as someone who loses/breaks them a bit too often than I would like.

So, I wanted to try to do something fun for stuffing this Thanksgiving, and I wanted to check and see if it was a good idea.
I was thinking of making a dark gumbo roux, and then essentially making a gumbo broth with the trinity to use for the stuffing, and use Cajun spices in the mix as well as the trinity for the vegetable mix in portion.
I'm unsure if this would make the broth too thick to use in this capacity (I know a dark roux doesn't thicken a lot, but still)

Right now I’m a junior in high school taking 3 APs, that has a 4.0 unweighted throughout hs, and scored 1420 on psat (I haven’t taken the sat yet). I’m undecided but interested in engineering, business, and law. My parents are telling me that if I go to a school in Oregon then I will be limiting myself academically, but I know going out of state can be really expensive. What are some good out of state universities for me with relatively cheap tuition or good scholarships available? Or is it better I stay in state?

My friend has been at a low point in his life for a while now. He feels like Christ betrayed him and God is poison to him. I pray for him and his life seems to get better, and then it gets worse. It makes me worry that i'm doing something wrong.
I've already been saved, and I keep praying for the Lord to bless him as he's blessed me, for his namesake as a fair and just God. Can you pray for him?

Seeing her downfall in the last 12 months has made me rethink my life choices and realise how I have seen myself spiral. Obviously not as intensely with less to lose, but the parallels were startling in regards to body dysmorphia, manic episodes and the attention seeking posts that remind me of me as a teenager. I pulled my socks up and I now have a psych evaluation booked for next week.
