Hey everyone,
I’m building a PC around the RTX 4080 SE Gaming OC (already purchased) and have a total budget of 1450-1500€ which includes the CPU: i9-14900K. I’m aware of the instability issues with the 14900K and I’m hoping they won’t arise, but I’m prepared to tweak settings and meddle with it to make it work, as I am aware Intel released a microcode patch and I’m hoping it will do its job. I plan to use the CPU at stock settings (maybe in the future ill try oc) and I won’t be doing any benchmarks, etc.., but only gaming.Please focus on recommendations for the other components rather than discussing why I shouldn’t buy the 14900K. I’m purchasing all parts from www.mlacom.si, but I am open to changing where I buy from if you have better recommendations, or if the budget doesn't fit. I’m from Slovenia, EU, so the availability and pricing in the EU is what I need to work with.
Here are the parts I have picked so far and some I am unsure of and need help with:

RAM: CORSAIR Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000 CL30 (200,42€)

I’m open to adjusting the budget by up to 50-70€ for the right parts, so feel free to recommend the best options within that range. I’m also open to other suggestions for components as well.

I started a new job a few months ago and got pretty close to a coworker in a different department. We hit it off pretty well, eating lunch together and walking towards home after work most days and I asked her out for drinks and she said yes, and a few days later we went to a bar nearby and had a pretty great conversation about our lives, our futures and past relationships.
Eventually she told me she wasn't ready to be in a relationship again and wasn't really looking for anything long term (which is what i wanted), adding that she was in an open relationship with someone else which really kicked my ass but I think i handled it pretty well. We kept talking for a while and she thanked me for being interested in her but asked if we could just stay friends, which i agreed and said I wouldn't want to make things weird in the office and in our work friend group.
It's been a really long time since I was last interested in someone who I've felt so connected to and even longer since I asked someone out at all like this, I thought for quite a while I wouldn't be able to have feelings like this for another person ever again but now that I have I'm just reminded about why I ran from these types of feelings in the first place all those years ago.
On some level I guess I'm proud of myself for taking an emotional risk like this for the first time in years and thankful she let me down easy, but overall I'm just feeling sad and lonely and wondering when if ever I'm gonna connect with someone like this again. Mourning what could've been I guess :/
