Maybe this sub can help me out. Fromville appears to be in a different realm. But, it seems like it once was an actual town. Is it really in Maine? Was everyone that got stuck there in the same geographical area when they witnessed the tree? Maybe it's a Bridgewater Triangle in Massachusetts-type of place?
Being a history nerd, I think it would be cool if there was leftover evil from King Phillip's War. (Then again, tropes like cursed Native American lands can lead to lazy/ignorant stereotypes.)

All right, everything important-ish started my 9th-grade year (we met in 6th grade). I hadn't spoken to him (let's call him HB1) because of the lockdown and when we spoke again it had been like 2 years. Fast forward to the middle of 9th grade, I started noticing that he started to open up more and be nicer, keep in mind this is coming from a reserved, quiet person so this is big. And slowly I started noticing that he liked me, but I didn't want to be delulu so I left it at that. A couple of days later after noticing this behavior he opens up to me and told me that he likes me, but I made the stupid fricking choice of picking some dumbass over him ugh the way this hurts me so much right now, smh. Anyways, I don't really regret it because back then I was definitely not the most mature person, and due to me picking the other boy over him and created who I am now which is a great thing because I've matured so much and I've learned so much but damn man I think about that moment all day long now.
Fast forward to my 12th-grade year, I noticed him during lunch sitting alone and I sat with him and started talking to him and keeping him company. Boom so I started sitting with him, my hg used to sit with her other friends, and other times she wouldn't even go to the lunchroom so In my mind it was appropriate to sit with my friend who I hadn't talked with for a long time. Like a month goes by in this routine and he's like "Thank you, you actually made my day like if it wasn't for you I would've been bored blah blah blah blah" Okay. I invited our other friend (HB2) (whom we both know from 6th grade; we were a friend group) to come to school (he would miss every day) and hang out with us, and after like 2 weeks of convising he came. Boom - Now it's 4 of us, my two home boys, me, and my HG (which I had known for less than a year) who had recently joined (sometimes). My HB1 started telling me how we kinda liked her, etc and I'm like bett, I'll pyo! So a couple of weeks go by of me trying to set them up and stuff, but every time I talk to her she's like no HE'S talking to me, she's like HE this, HE that, but nothing about them (together) but when I talk to him, he's telling me how THEY are doing stuff, THEY are talking, and from his POV they're actually getting some but from her perspective, there is no THEY. And to be honest, when girls don't want others to find out that, they have something going on (in this case feelings), They'll make it look like they're uninterested while making the other person sound like actually doing all the work, so I peep this, and I'm like OK this is weird but I don't put too much mind into it because she's telling me no I don't want him and I respect that I just let her know. Hey, you should let him know that because from what it sounds like you're leading him on, and at the end of the day, he stole my friend so I don't want him to get hurt.
Little background information is three years prior, so like a month or two after he told me that he liked me, he started dating this other girl who was a grade below us, now my HG is a grade below me. So she and the other girl knew each other and were close so she's telling me how she doesn't want to be respectful to our friend and I'm like hey that's completely valid but also talk to her and ask her how she feels because how she still going to be stuck in a relationship that happened three years ago??? All right, so boom they end up not talking and she's like hey I just wanna be friends blah blah blah blah, a couple of weeks after this I'm starting to really look at my HB1 and I'm like damn he kinda.. he kinda yummy 😋 but you know Im tryna dismiss these thoughts cause I don't wanna lose his friendship. Too much had been going on the year prior and I lost 3 long friendships over the same BS, a love interest WHO I wasn't EVEN INTERESTED IN! But that's a story for a different time. I don't tell my homegirl about these feelings because we only know each other for like a year and I don't trust her as much as I trust, my other homeboys (plus, I had a fallout with my best friend of possibly five years due to a boy so I'm not really in a space where I'm trusting new people into my life).
Anyways, so yesterday I and my boy were hanging out privately and I'm not gonna be delusional, I'm not gonna tell you OMG it was so romantic, he wanted me so bad, like no it was just a casual hang out. We were hanging out as a group and then we all went our own way and he was like "Come with me (he didn't ask, he demanded btw so bossy 😒) Let's run some errands" and I'm like "Sure, who wants to go home? Either way, it's not like it's super dark outside 😊"
Something about me is that I have dreams and my dreams have meanings and there is no doubt in that and last night well, I guess you would say tonight cause I'm writing this at 3 AM. I had a dream about me and him being together, but not letting each other know that we like each other, but still kinda acting flirty like a couple. So now that I'm remembering last night, my HG was telling me how she was talking to her family member about boy issues and I didn't even bring up my homeboy because I didn't wanna make it uncomfortable for her since she already told me that she didn't want him, but then she starts telling me how she does like him. She just doesn't wanna lose a friendship over him because he dated her friend and I'm like she told you that she doesn't want him and she moved on (that shit was 3 years ago), but she's like you know how girls are, they say they don't care but then they really do.
And the thing is that I see him as a potential partner and I'm talking about a long-term partner because when I date, I don't date for like a month, like I'm gonna date you for a long time and he seems to be that person for me. But then it's also like oh if you like him? you can go for him, I'm not gonna lose a friendship over a boy and proceed to also lose my friendship with that boy as well, but I know that they're not gonna last long (she told me she was moving and I and him are going to graduate has probably gonna stay local) and he told me he doesn't want her anymore and that he was fine when she told him that she just wanted to be friends (he's a chill guy...).
And it's like 3 AM my head is fried. I probably missed some details and you're probably not gonna get the full image, but my point is should I tell him that she low-key likes him or should I just leave it? Should I get out of their way? Should I shoot my shot? Like what's up?

This skin needs to be removed from the game immediately. I play this game on the lowest settings possible for everything and I was playing on rebirth island warzone. This stupid dragon cuts his chute about 10 feet above controller center and my game blacks out from that time period just right up into him standing over me executing me. Most modern PCs can’t handle this skins VFX even on the lowest settings with gore and effects turned off. I can’t imagine how bad it would be on an older console or maybe any random budget pc. Please remove him. It’s not fair. I don’t care if green people are running around like this it makes them easier to see if you don’t give them Steven Spielberg special effects that crashes the peoples systems around them. Remove him and take off the effects.
