Hi everyone, there's some K affs that have been popular in my area lately, and so I'm prepping for them. I've never debated K affs before but am familiar with some arguments against them. I'm just kinda confused how I should organize my 1NC. I have like a few questions
- Is T-USFG separate from framework?
- Also is theory part of the case debate or is it on framework? Like where would I put a Cede the Political/Switch Side Debate/Presumption?
- Can I run a counterplan to solve the aff's impacts or is that generally not a thing?
- How good are ballot PIKs, generally?
- How do people generally structure the neg block if they just run T-USFG? Is the 2NC the T and the 1NR just case? How do you get case cards if each K aff is so different?
- Do I just resort to generic links for Ks vs the K aff? Cause again each K aff is so different I don't know how I would find a specific link. Also would the lack of a specific K link be an independent reason for fairness/education in the T?

2024.11.26 07:29 odonnellnoel PC randomly rebooting, sometimes doesn't POST
Hello, hoping to get some help on this, I just want to figure out which component is faulty.
Motherboard: ROG STRIX b760-F Gaming Wifi
Processor: Intel i9 13900K
No graphics card
My PC worked perfectly for over a year until yesterday, when the screen suddenly went black and seemed to go into a boot-loop. The red and yellow Q-LEDs were flashing alternately. At first I suspected the processor was fried, as I knew these processors had overheating issues, but I did upgrade the BIOS. Nevertheless I'd had the original BIOS up to just a few months ago.
Troubleshooting: I took out 3 of the 4 DDR5 DIMMs, took out the CMOS battery, removed the processor, and put it back in again, put some more thermal paste on it, and put the watercooler back on top, again it failed to POST, with the red and yellow Q-LEDs again flashing alternately.
At this point I begrudgingly swapped the PSU with an older PC (both 1000W PSUs), disconnected the power and left it rest for 1/2 an hour so the BIOS would reset. I switched it back on and this time it POSTed. So I managed to boot up the computer and used it for about 1 hour. It seemed to work perfectly. I assumed the PSU was faulty, so I installed the other 3 DIMMs and tried booting and again it wouldn't POST. I again cleared the BIOS settings by removing battery, and tried this several more times, using 1 DIMM at a time, trying different memory slots. Sometimes it would POST, sometimes not, but when it did it would work perfectly, then randomly crash after between 1 minute and 1 hour.
I'm pretty sure the problem is not the memory since I tried all 4 individually, and not the PSU since I tried 2 different ones with the same results, and the watercooler is working plus the 9 or so fans in the case. Which leaves with the CPU or motherboard as the 2 remaining suspects. I just want to figure which of these I need to replace. The CPU is (I believe) under warranty since it's under 3 years old.

I'll start: I was 15 when I first moved to a mountainous area. I went to some friends house on a very cold night. her driveway was on a slope and after I said hello, I spent the next 15 minutes searching in the dark outside to find a good rock or branch to put under by tires in case the road iced. Everyone was rolling their eyes at me and saying it's not even that cold outside.
Come the morning after the sleepover, my friend's dad's car was at the bottom of the driveway after it slid into a tree. My car was totally fine.

I’m trying to shadow a crna and I’m required to pay $75 to shadow and $38 for a background check. Is that normal? I shadowed one back in May and it was free so I asked why do I have to pay now and they said it’s because “their processes have changed.” I tried reaching out to another hospital and they also require payment. I went ahead and paid but I was just curious as to if anyone else experienced this.
Also if anyone knows of any sites I can get a background check for cheaper lmk.
