I have been in my current role for 8 years and work in a small team of 3 people.
There is my an Account Director, a Senior Advisor and then myself. I have a junior job title, but the pay has been acceptable and the work has been interesting.
The work that I do has not significantly changed in the last 8 years and we have all worked very hard in the face of an ever increasing workload. We work on a niche account that requires a level background knowledge of this particular client. I get on my with both of my colleagues and due to the size of the team, it being a bit niche and there being no other resource for the account, I have at times pushed through when I really, really could have done with being signed off, but didn't want to leave my colleagues in the lurch.
We have recently recruited for a fourth member of the team. This was advertised as a Senior Advisor. I spoke with my boss after seeing the advert and he agreed my work aligns with that of the Senior Advisor and in April my job title would change
They had interviews and after one of the interviews my boss decided to make an offer to a candidate. I was at my desk and overheard the conversation and it was apparent that the candidate they were offering the job to was being offered more than 50% more than I currently earn.
Ultimately, this candidate didn't work out and the offer was withdrawn. However, I realised I am probably being underpaid.
More interviews were undertaken and they found a replacement candidate who was less experienced and this has left me in a position where I feel, a bit cheated. The new candidate is a higher grade than myself and is likely on a higher salary but also is less experienced than myself.
I do not feel any animosity towards the new person. It is not their fault. However, I do feel very cheated by my work not only because my job title does not align with my work, but also because I am likely being paid less than I should be. And also because my job title is not aligned with my work, it also means that my annual bonus has been half of what it should have been. I'm entitled to an annual bonus of 5% at my current grade, but if I had been a Senior Advisor it would have been 10 to 15% annually and as a result I have missed out on bonus year after year. This is based on my boss's acknowledgement that my work is aligned with that of a senior advisor and also because it has not changed in the last 8 years. The role I do now is the role I started doing and the responsibilities I have are the responsibilities I had when I started.
I had always heard that companies are not loyal and that those that earn the most are those that the move jobs most frequently. However, I had always considered my boss to be fair with me and always push for me to get pay increases. Enjoying the time I've been in the role. My pay has risen by more than 50%.
This situation has however made me realise that being loyal to a company and team doesn't really count for anything and is not rewarded. I am looking for other roles but is there any benefit in having a discussion with my boss about how I feel or would this be to my detriment?
I guess from my employer's point of view is why should they have paid me more? Why should they have changed my job title when their the amount they are paying has been enough for me to stay as long as I have?

Spero di aver usaro il flair corretto.
Riassunto molto breve: piccolo stradello con 14 posti auto. Di cui 8 del condominio A e 6 del condominio B. Entrambi i condominii A e B hanno un unico giardino interno dove ci sono altri 2 + 2 posti auto.
C’era una regola condominiale per cui ogni appartamento aveva un suo posto auto assegnato. Sui vari rogiti si parla solo di parti comuni, ma formalmente i posti non sono di proprietà dei singoli condomini.
Circa 6 anni fa il comune si sveglia e decide che lo stradello non è piu privato: fa rimuovere il cartello di strada privata e nel nostro stradello iniziano a parcheggiare letteralmente TUTTI.
Iniziamo un dialogo con il comune, fast forward ad oggi: il comune ci offre di venderci i posti auto a circa 12k l’uno.
Ora ci sono diverse criticità: -se un condomino non è interessato all’acquisto e c’e quindi un posto “vacante”. E allo stesso tempo altri due condomini entrambi interessati ad acquistare 2 posti auto, come si decide a chi spetta il posto extra?
-i posti interni diventano in vendita? Cioè il condominio vende ai singoli anche quei posti?
-Se, per assurdo, dei posti rimangono invenduti, a livello condominiale vengono prima venduti i posti interni?
Come ci si regola a livello di assemblea condominiale? È necessaria la maggioranza anche solo per decidere l’acquisto dei singoli posti esterni? O nessuno si puo opporre se, per esempio, ci fosse anche solo un condomino interessato all’acquisto?

My GE76 Raider laptop is constantly booting into BIOS. My boot priority is currently my USB drive, which I have tried to change to hard disk.
The issue is that everytime I try and change the settings, I click to save and reset. It resets but zero settings are saved. I'm flabberghasted at how a two-thousand dollar laptop created by experienced software engineers and hardware engineers alike fail to save something as simple as bios settings.
Please help me as this laptop is limited to my bios settings for now.
