i got my ft1s and coming from hyperx cloud alpha yes they have better sound but not by 100%, more like 20-30% better sound only in certain instances too, and in many songs there is no difference at all between the two. Also, the cable is annoying by going into both earcups instead of just 1 so it touches me more, and its shorter, the hyperx cable was like 3 times longer, also not even a mic? this should be a standard i dont care if these are "audiophile" headphones.. considering they dont even sound 2 times better and no mic is crazy
yes i can hear more instruments or whatever, but this whole "soundstage" im not sure why its considered a pro, because i dont even like it, i like when these instruments blend together more than separate, the only reason i could like soundstage is for ASMR which these headphones are indeed better for that than the hyperx
also the headband, or whatever its called, the thing on the top of ur head, it is very stiff and uncomfortable, the hyperx cloud alpha have it so much more comfortable despite being 5+ years old, its still more comfortable
either i got used to hyperx or audiophilic headphones arent even that great thanks for hyping it up for nothing i will likely be returning those and just getting "inferior gamer headphones"

hi everyone :)
i just got diagnosed last week with grade 1 ischemic spondy with scoliosis. i have been dealing with back issues for about 7 years, and the few times i went to the hospital or doctors i was told it was all in my head. my doctor now says that this should have been caught years earlier, but that it was 100% not in my head.
i am certainly relieved to have an answer to the cause of my pain, however, my doctor told me that based on my x-rays and how long I've been in pain, this will never heal on its own. he also mentioned that while we are going to try conservative methods, this very well may end up with surgery, despite it only being grade 1. i also have low grade scoliosis that he said most likely developed recently from the spondy, since I've had some x-rays over the past several months that did not show any scoliosis. having a family member with an almost entirely fully fused spine, and seeing how much of a toll any surgery can take on you, has definitely put this into perspective for me. my doctor said that this will unfortunately be a life-long problem for me, even if surgery reduces most of my symptoms.
this has been very hard on me to process since i turn 20 next month and i now have to plan for any possibility. i know that there's always a good chance that this will be managed well with PT and injections, however, i can't help but worry nonetheless.

I only traveled with my one card, obviously now I know that was a huge mistake, but my card got blocked, I can’t withdraw cash, I can’t use my card. And my bank said I can only send my card to my ig mailing address. I’m here in Spain til December 15th, does anyone know how to get money from my account without my card?
I’m getting desperate here.

 | I finished cleaning this Sony Trinitron and it mostly works other than the black arches on the sides of the screen and a green tint by the arches. 2024.11.26 09:30 yuukigerma CPU was running at 4.3 ghz speed (probably with turboboost) but now it's capped at 3.7 ghz (base clock cpeed)
My cpu is an intel i7-8700k and the motherboard is an Asrock b360m-hdv. Since when i had this pc the cpu clock speed was fixed at 4.3 ghz and it ran without issues. Never had thermal throttling or other signs that the cpu had some kind of issue.
Turbo boost, Speed step and speed shift are all turned on in the bios settings, but the cpu is now stuck at running at the base clock speed of 3.7 ghz.
I already tried updating all the drivers (CPU and Motherboard), tinkering with Intel XTU and resetting the BIOS, but nothing seemed to work. I also tried reinstalling a windows 11 update that i happened to install the exact day the issue manifested. I now run a different windows update but nothing changed. Under load the cpu never goes over 3.7 ghz, both during a benchmark and during different tasks that use the cpu intensively.
I tried switching the power mode between balanced and maximum performance but there was no difference on the clock speed. The only thing i still havent tried is installing a clean copy of windows but i would like to avoid it if possible.

Just an update that the usual has occurred RE: growth of the sub, that being not having the time to complete my plans. Will still be doing the training (of sorts) on using, not just being aware of, Reddit approved means of growing a sub community. This one involves hands on exercises, not just awareness ones.
Please don't overlook writing posts and comments, and inviting at least one person per couple weeks. Activities and content are still one of the important ways subs grow. Without content their's little point to having a community. Thanks for reading my views.
