2024.11.26 09:40 Yeightop First impressions of new TH weapon?
It doesnt feel very much stronger to me especially now that it doesn’t drop a poison on destruction. Before i used to need to worry about how my troops would path around the town hall to mitigate damage from the explosion but now its not much of an issue against these 17s im raiding. I just feel myself not looking at it as as much of a threat🤔🤔

 | Don't be alarmed. These three ladies are rescued from a local breeder. Currently, they are quarantined and being treated for a yellow fungus infection. The setup is a simple 155L bin with terracota platform(from broken plant pots) for easy to clean and treatment. It's a daily process of disinfecting the whole enclosure (including the hardscape) with 5 types of solution to kill yellow fungus and any bacteria, and for them, a daily bath of DAKIN's solution and a separate soak in a betadine solution plus concentrated betadine application on infected areas, eyes, back, tail etc. I've had 3 other rescues prior to them a couple of months ago that died due to yellow fungus disease (I got them when they have internal damage already). Most bearded dragons die within the first month or two from the time an issue is detected. Luckily, I convinced the local breeder to give up on these three before it got worse. It's been a month and the spread of the disease is halted but still existing. There's no decline on feeding response and they function normally despite some swollen toes but it will subside soon. Treatment may last 6 months or more. I already looked for over a month for an exotic vet but to no avail. 2024.11.26 09:39 JadonArey As a newer player; the loot is great, the world is vibrant, combat is fun.. but movement is absolutely terrible.
I got into this game about 2 weeks ago or so and I’ve hit the point where I pretty much understand what the game is and will be offering to me for the next however many hundreds of hours; and I like it a lot!
I’ll start with the positives. The loot and general exploration system is a lot of fun starting off; more than most games I’ve played, I feel a desire to actually explore every nook and cranny, it doesn’t feel like a chore, which is a very good thing. The world that accompanies this is also great; vibrant, varied in landscapes/colors/geography, very pretty to look at. But this is what leads into what my biggest gripe about this game so far is, and that’s the movement.
I don’t mean to be rash, but it’s awful. Like, really bad.
The generally slower move/run speed is fine, responsiveness and control aren’t what’s lacking necessarily. It’s how cumbersome it is to do everything. Dodging provides practically no speed increase, just iframes, but it mostly feels okay. But i find with lots of enemies around me and not built enough characters to deal with them quickly (remember, I’m a bit new), you’re left being shoved left and right and back and forward by nearly every enemy since they all have priority collision. Which is just, really not a good design decision it does NOT feel good when you don’t have the power to just instakill most mobs, trying to avoid ranged attacks coupled with gap closers is nigh on impossible.
But climbing, jumping, and stamina is where my real issue lies so far. Climbing is just ridiculously slow. There’s no reason it needs to be so slow. I legitimately spent 15 minutes trying to get up or around a cliff to unlock a TP waypoint, because my stamina would run out halfway up and there was no air boosts, bridges, slopes or hills to rely on. I had to run in a MASSIVE u-shape to circumvent the entire cliff and work my way back up for a TP that was probably 2 inches away from the TP location on my screen. That’s just one example.
Jumping also feels very very bad. This distance, the height, the duration, all feel WAY to short. It’s like a skip, not a jump. It basically is useless in traversal because most of the areas you’d think you’d be able to jump up to you end up just climbing because you jump legitimately less than a foot off the ground. Then you have enemies that freeze you, and unfeeezing yourself is bound to the jump button, leaving you to frantically jump once you unfreeze leaving you even more vulnerable to another freeze or a knockdown. Literally just bind it to dodge instead. Problem instantly solved.
In general I’m having a great time with the game, the vibe, the story, the world, the loot system and combat all are a bunch of fun. But the movement is starting to hinder my experience more and more as i go on, to the point where i look at a massive cliff and just straight up say no, because I don’t want to waste 15 minutes scaling a single cliff edge because there’s absolutely no other means of traversal outside of other characters that I won’t have access to for a long time. I really feel some QOL movement improvements would be very very welcome.
What are your guys’ thoughts?
