For context i am a 26F from Uk
Most people have always told me that when you smoke cannabis that you are very unlikely to dream and I have had friends experience this issue!
However I have been smoking pretty much non stop since I was 13 and I still experience dreams..
INFACT I don’t just experience dreams but I have a whole other relm that I travel too, I can revisit places there’s a town centre and rail network, there’s nightclubs and abandons buildings, it’s very distopian but very cool
I have tried drawing a map/ these places before but although I am an artist I struggle to convey how these places actually are,
I would say I dream roughly 5/7 nights a week, very intense very strong and I smoke every night of the week.
Before I had a full time job I could force my self to stay in my dream relm and sleep for up to 16hr,
I mean I still can now if I wanted too I find it very easy to keep my self asleep,
Also the time I spend in my relm is remembered, sometimes I wake up so confused and and I feel like I’ve ran a marathon but I know why! I know what activities I did in the dream relm and I can remember who I met,where I went, what I did
I always wake up and want to go straight back into it, (my reality is okay but the relm is so much cooler)
If you guys would like to know more about my relm( I’m yet too name/ find out what the place is called) I am happy to answer any questions ☺️
I guess my question is dose anyone else experience this? Has anyone else got there own relm they go too at night?

2024.11.26 10:50 a-warm-breeze Flares. How do they effect you?
Hi fellow AS'ers
I've not talked to anyone else with AS so far, and I'm wondering if there is a difference between a flare and other back issues.
I'm about 3 months into a bout of sciatica. I've had many sciatica episodes over the years. For at least 10 years, but never for 3 months and still going strong. That's 3 months of not being able to work, sit, drive etc. Feeling pretty f@@ked at the moment.
So is this a flare or sciatica, or both?
I'm based In the UK, I do have a few slipped discs and mri shows compression. I was diagnosed with AS in 2018. I'm taking humira and now the GP has prescribed a bunch of other pain relief and sleeping pills which are spacing me out.

Premessa: post un po' lungo.
Partiamo dal 3 novembre quando scrivo per la prima volta a questa ragazza (ci eravamo visti al bowling in una uscita di gruppo qualche tempo prima e giorni dopo io avevo seguito su instagram lei e le altre ragazze che erano lì solo per seguirle. Lei mi aveva iniziato a mettere like alle storie e così le ho scritto).
Il giorno stesso in cui le scrivo, mentre parliamo lei stessa mi dice che se dovessi passare dalla città in cui lei studia potevamo prenderci un caffè. Io dovevo andare mercoledì per un impegno e quindi ci siamo visti mercoledì la prima volta. Poi continuamo a parlare su insta e due o tre giorni dopo lei stessa mi da il suo numero e dice che è meglio su WhatsApp. Ok.
Arriva il weekend e non ci vediamo perché lei torna a casa, ma continuiamo a sentirci.
SECONDA SETTIMANA Il lunedì ci vediamo, mercoledì pure e venerdì, dopp che le ho proposto di vedere un film assieme vado a casa sua la sera. Ceniamo assieme alla sua coinquilina e poi io e lei andiamo in camera sua e ci mettiamo nel letto e vediamo il film, e nel mentre ci coccoliamo un po'. Dopo il film ci diamo il primo bacio; sono stato io ma lei ci è stata tranquillamente. Quella notte poi ho dormito con lei e la mattina sono tornato a casa. Il giorno dopo, cioè sabato, siamo usciti la sera con altri due ragazzi e ho dormito di nuovo da lei.
Poi torno a casa e finisce la settimana.
TERZA SETTIMANA Lunedì ci vediamo e sto due orette a casa sua, poi torno a casa. Mercoledì sera lei doveva andare ad una festa. Ci vediamo solo un'oretta in macchina perché non aveva acqua a casa e quindi mi ha detto che lei e le sue coinquiline dovevano lavarsi in qualche altro modo, ma comunque ci vediamo solo in macchina. Poi torno a casa e lei va alla festa.
E da qui inizia la stranezza.
La festa è stata mercoledì ma noi non ci siamo visti fino a ieri (lunedì). Io però dal giorno dopo la festa vedo che lei è più fredda e distaccata dai messaggi, risponde dopo ore anche... E infatti, ieri, dopo che l'ho presa come al solito dalla biblioteca e siamo andati a casa sua, ci sediamo sul letto e mi dice che è un periodo un po' così, stressante per via dell'università e anche qualcosa a casa, e non si sente di stare in una relazione. Io le ho detto che potevo anche darle tutto il tempo e lo spazio, però lei mi ha detto che non si sente di potermi dare tutte le attenzioni e bla bla bla. Mi ha detto anche che le piaccio e che sono il suo tipo di ragazzo, e la vedevo anche un po' giù...
La mia idea è che è successo qualcos dalla festa, non me lo toglie nessuno dalla testa, anche perché, quasi dimenticavo, il giorno dopo la festa le avevo scritto come era andata e lei mi aveva risposto "diciamo bene", al che le ho detto che poi ne avremmo parlato. Ieri, dopo averla presa, e ho chiesto della festa e subito mi ha detto "meh", e mo ha raccontato che dei ragazzi ci provavano con loro ma a loro non interessavano.
Anche questo mi fa riflettere, anche perché aveva fatto tutto lei, like e cose varie, mi aveva detto anche che se non le avessi scritto io mi voleva scrivere lei, e poi se ne esce così? Bhoo
Voi che ne pensate? Secondo voi potrebbe essere davvero un momento no? Secondo me no, troppp strano
Ultima cosa, ancora più strana, mi ha detto che possiamo comunque rimanere buoni amici e vedere anche qualche altro film, ma secondo lei lo farò mai? NO, sarebbe troppo strano
Scusate il papello, ma già ieri ne ho parlato con mia sorella e onestamente, essendoci rimasto un po' così, mi sento meglio se ne parlo con altri.

So for context I have a huge crush on this guy. I finally got up the courage to ask him if he’d ever want to hang out with me and he said yes! We’ve been on 2 “dates” now and both have gone really well and conversation flowed very easily and I’ve gotten to know a lot more about him and he seems like he enjoyed them too, but he barely initiates anything and I’m usually always the one to text him first. So far it’s been me asking if he’s free and making plans and then I text him after saying I had fun and he says he did too, but then he never initiates anything after and I’m the one to text him again after a couple days.
I know he’s pretty busy with work and also seems pretty shy and I’m also the one who pursued him first, but how can I tell if he likes me? I can’t tell if he’s just shy and takes some time to warm up to someone or if he’s just not that into me. I feel like I’ve made it pretty obvious I’m into him and I want to hang out with him again really soon should I just tell him that I like him and see what he says or wait till he takes initiative and makes the first move?
