Aiming to get HD490 Pros as a gift to myself for Christmas (AUS). Should I get a DAC, an amp, or both šµāš«(budget up to $400). Current headset is a Logitech G Pro X gaming headset. *I aim to use EQ/Equalizer APO to make the headphones suit better to my needs at home-gaming, music (pop, jazz,R&B, K pop, anime music etc.), movies etc. Suggestions for any of the choices are highly welcome as the options are many, and I don't intend on spiralling and spending any more of my own money on audio gear until I get a place of my own.

We've seen these two do every horrible thing under the sun but the funny thing is we've not seen any cannibalism till episode 9 where they've been eating some of the bodies.
I find it funny how totally glossed over this is by everyone. I guess after everything they've done eating people is just kind of not all that shocking.
Maybe they've just done too much fucked up shit for that to be all that shocking or surprising or maybe cannibalism just isn't as fucked up to most people as used to be.

Sorry this is a long one....
In a really tough/impossible feeling spot. I (41M) have been married to my wife (40F) for 13 years, known eachother since highschool. Love of my life. We have 1 child and 2 adult children (I raised from her previous marriage, but i am their dad in everything but blood). All still at home.
Around covid she was emdr therapy, and it surfaced some bad memories/trauma from childhood, then they stopped her cold turkey due to covid to deal with it on her own. COVID tine was rough. Our relationship had its issues going in to covid, she always believed I cheated (never), and I did give her as much live/attention as she needed. When COVID came i tried to focus on us but it was like a light switch occurred.
We started couples therapy after covid, for about 3 years now. She didn't like our first therapist so she let her go after around a year or so, the new one has been seeing us for over a year or 2. Things continue to get worse, and really boiled up 2 months ago when she asked for a "break" then I caught her emotionally cheating. Things have been tough since. She stopped couples therapy but we kept individual with the same therapist.
This is where things get... messed up.... the therapist tells me that both my wife and middle child gave BPD (for history her bio mom was schizophrenic), but she won't tell them. This channel has been amazing for helping me... but it is all to much. I love ger with all my heart and don't want to lose her but it us wearing on me. She is completely split from me, won't even sleep in our bed. I am concerned it is a permanent split. Of course everything that happened is my fault... and she us focused on her oerspective/barrative/needs.
I don't know what to do to try and salvage my marriage, and know logically, I shouldn't. I even drafted divorce papers and showed them to her.
I am in over my head and hurting. I know now some of what she us going through with BPD but can't tell her... I made a vow for sickness or health... but I am concerned after her splitting me I am doing more harm than good.
I don't know what I'm asking... but thank you to this community for being here.
Tldr; Marriage problems, heading toward divorce, counselor puts it on me wife is BPD but won't tell her. FML

I have picked up some great penpals on here earlier, some fizzled out, some is still around, but i think i'm ready for a new batch of weirdos in my inbox.
Do you like mixing talk about everything from politics to why banana and curry on pizza is the best topping and everything in between? I'm all for it, i love talking about everything and nothing. Personally i like to binge books from time to time, deeply into metal music and concerts but appear more like a dad in IT that has accidentally stumbled into a metal gig. Tho i am a dad in IT, so maybe it isn't that odd. I also like to keep myself decently current on what is happening in the world and love to hear views from other sides of the world. I also like to cook, maybe not super good at it, but its fun and hey, you gotta eat right?
Even tho i am Swedish, i have a deep hatred for IKEA, i'm more or less convinced that 70% of the people in IKEA have been roaming the warehouse for several years, having no idea how to find their way out and have been surviving on meatballs dropped on the floor in the resturant.
If you love going on long in depth rants on anything you are interested in, like why Pierce Brosnan was the, by far, best Bond, i'm definitely into it.
I'm a open minded person and i only discriminate against those who eat pizza from the middle and people who talk on speaker phone in public.
I speak three languages fluently, Swedish, English and Profanity. Much of the profanity i have learn by being 6'3 and smashing my head into stuff, but i'm open to improving my skills further. Anyone of those languages i'm fine communicating in.
Do don't be shy, come introduce yourself. Oh, and i prefer reddit DM or chat, my handwriting makes no one happy.
