These are the things you should know for context: - I’m a 19 year old girl who is also a nursing student. - I live in Australia but have some family in the USA. - I have three siblings (17F, 13F, 10F)
November 2023 we find out my cousin was engaged and he is due to get married next year in April for in the state of Texas!
I was going to attend but decided against it due to the long travel time between Australia and the USA.
I informed my mom of this and she purchased tickets for herself and my dad.
I then decided I wanted to come as my 85 year old grandpa was going to be there and the last time I saw him I was 12 and he’s getting older and can’t travel as much! My mom told me I was no longer welcome to come as she had decided it wouldn’t be a family trip. I acknowledged what she said.
So for her later purchased a ticket for my little brother (10) and one of my other sisters (13), and have those tickets as business ones was so shocking and unfair.
Ever since I was little my mom and dad will tell me and my other sister (17) that we need to work hard if we want to spoil ourselves in the future.
My parents have bought my self and my other sister (17) a car and paid for us to go to a good high schools but they are doing the EXACT same things for our younger siblings!
I’m upset that she would tell us one thing and then do the exact opposite for the others. The fact they are saying we aren’t welcome to attend is also very unfair in my opinion. We are going to be free and they still aren’t letting us come!
Do we have a valid point to be annoyed?

A thread here where a guy was ranting because he was trying to help a local couple and they showed up 45 minutes late to the meeting got me thinking.
It's good to want to help people but you need to understand that most people, like 80%, are in bad situations due to their own actions and attitudes. Secondly, a lot of people who want 'help' only want it on their terms ie giving them money. The people who didn't have the decency to attend the meeting on time are a perfect example.
As expats being barraged with sad stories and requests for help is just part of the cost of doing business here in The Philippines. Just remember this; they survived 25+ years without you why is it all of the sudden the sky will fall if you don't help them now?
Yes, there's poverty here but don't let them use that as an excuse to be lazy or deceitful. Millions of Filipinos work hard to support themselves and their families and don't steal or depend on someone else. Its just that the Filipinos who first approach foreigners tend to be the lazy ones looking for a shortcut. There are jobs here, they just think they're too good for the jobs that they're qualified for.

As the title suggests (sorry if there's posts like this already)
So my only option is AliExpress for buying because I live in a underdeveloped nation.
My requirements are:
1:A plane that flies / glides is durable
2: it's reliable (the only thing I need to replace after awhile is the battery and motor nothing else given I don't crash ofcourse) and motor should last a long time.
3: can find spare parts on AliExpress easily and are cheap.
4: basically want a headache free plane that lasts many many years (I won't be crashing it) and doesn't make me broke or just stops working one day randomly.
I've so far come across Volantex & WLtoys.

Hi, My pc stopped working suddenly couple of days before. my windows just randomly crashed and restarted on its own and after that my pc would randomly shut down and after restarting goes to the bios screen and there no no boot device showsl've changed connector cables rechecked the ram, rechecked the ssd, i even pluuged the ssd in another laptop and it worked just fine also the ram is not faulty is showing in the BIOS and i cant understand what might be the issue i have a ADATA 128GB SSD which has been working fine is it a compatibility issue i cant seem to understand
Side note before this it wouldn't recognise another hard drive when i plugged it in just the ssd now its not even doing that

I took a day off from work today, as I have been really stressed due to external (and work related) factors, and just needed a break from things for a while.
I went out on a little walk and to grab some lunch, and somehow ran into one of my coworkers who was in the area running some errands on his lunch break. We didn’t talk, but he definitely saw me and waved at me. He knows I had taken the day off for personal leave.
Would I be questioned about it? I made an excuse that I wasn’t feeling too well as it i didn’t wanna bother going throguh the whole mental health day thing
