Hello, I'm an experienced web developper with little experience in the Desktop development field (just a few simple python apps in the past ) who was offered a big Desktop app project in C# Learning C# wasn't a problem but when it got to the UI I was kinda lost I looked at other posts here and everyone said WPF is the best but once I started learning it I was totally overwhelmed by that MVVM pattern ( used the MVC in web before and it was a lot more simple ) and tbh the resources and courses I found were always different from one another which made it more confusing for me Is there another powerful UI framewok that is easier to learn with an active community and available resources (The project is quite big so I need a powerful one ) Or Should I just stick to WPF and not give up ? If so please share some good courses and resources to learn it and thank you

Ive been unemployed since 2 months, I finished my carpenter degree in september and since then I am struggling to find a job... Ive applied to anything and eveything. Carpenters, cleaninger, cashier, delivery man, baker, postal service and basically anything that doesnt require any furthespecific degree but yet I either got declined or have not heard back from them. Majority of the jobs I applied to have been open and avilable for more than 3 Months but the second I apply there, SUDDENLY they find someone more qualified??
Im starting a med study as Autopsy assistant in March... My plan was to work along side while studying. I also havent mentioned this plan because its making my chances of a job drop even more than it already has..
Does anyone have trouble finding a job? Or am I doing something wrong? I attended all my school years, I have perfect grades and did a lot of internships as a teen in various of work places for multiple weeks..

I am personally glad to hear things are at least moving. As much as I hate to sour on the outreach strategy, I just don't know what else we would do. The only thing that of course concerns me is his last point:

This has been doing my head in for years now. In the 80s I remember seeing a video cover for a horror film about a possessed girl. On the front cover artwork the girl's eyes were white, and she was either holding an amulet in her hands or it was hanging around her neck on a chain. On the back cover movie stills was a still of the girl with EEG electrodes on her head. It must have been pre-1986 given the years I was seeing this. I used to sit and read the back of loads of videos when my my mother was doing the shopping as I was bored out of my mind. We did not have a video player so I had to reconstruct the movies as best I could from the blurbs! But anyhow, this one always freaked me out and I would love to know what it is. Whatever it is I think that it was pretty under the radar. I used to peruse horror videos everywhere, and I only ever saw this one at this one store and nowhere else even once.
All and any help appreciated greatly!
