2024.11.26 13:40 The_Sneaky_Toaster Getting Off Wellbutrin (1 Week In)

I’ve tried Wellbutrin for the last time. It’s not working and causes significant anxiety, even though I’m on Lexapro (stabilized/been on it for over a few months now, 10mg).
I tried taking Wellbutrin for 1 week (100mg SR. And unfortunate, not I’ve already tried the XL (which is even worse I’d say). Wellbutrin is hands down terrible for those predisposed to anxiety.
Can I stop Wellbutrin cold turkey or do I need to taper off even though it was only a week? Advice would be appreciated. I will be continuing the Lexapro however, which I believe helps deal with my anxiety. Thanks.

My fiancé and I (27F & 28M) will be travelling to Thailand for the first time next year on the 11th of March for our honeymoon and we need some travel advice about getting back to Phuket after travelling to Ko Samui and Ko Tao.
We have a return flight back home from Phuket on the 24th at 20:00PM and were wondering whether it's safe enough to leave Ko Tao on the morning of the 24th by catching a ferry to Ko Samui and then getting a local flight back to Phuket in time for our 20:00PM flight back home?
We would obviously try to get the earliest ferry to Ko Samui from Ko Tao as possible and select a flight to Phuket that gives us enough time to check our bags in etc before our flight home.
Is this too risky? Or do you think that this is manageable?
We are wondering whether we should just cut a day off our Ko Tao trip and fly back the day before but we have heard Ko Tao is incredible so would prefer not to.
We aren't first time travellers and are confident navigating airports and such, but wanted to get some advice from people here who have maybe done something similar or people who know Thailand's travel admin better :)
Btw this sub has been great in getting advice on places to go and things to avoid so thanks for all the tips! Also if anyone has any advice on when is best to buy local flights (like on Black Friday or something) that would be awesome cause DAMN these Samui flights are expensive haha.

My school has semester long classes, and I’ve decided to change one of the courses I signed up for in the 2nd semester. I already reported the initial course to a bunch of EA colleges though. I’m like 99% sure I should send an update, but I just wanted to be 100% sure.
Also, my courses (current and expected) are all on my transcript. Does my school need to send a new and updated copy of the transcript to all my colleges? Because technically the old one isn’t accurate.

Abych vysvětlil situaci já a moje přítelkyně máme čerstvě vytvořený vzath. Poznali jsme se přes Instagram byla pěkná. když ona napsal kámošovi že se jí líbí kámoš ji řekl že ne že ona neni jeho tip (psali si při hodině ve skole) a v tu dobu si kamoš vzpoměl na mě který si chce někoho najít ale nedaří se mu no a bych to zkrátil povedlo se mi ji přihodit dostala od kámoše na mě telefoní číslo a já její, potom jsem ji napsal a hned jsme se daly do řeči docela dobře jsme si seldy až jsem si řekl že by nebylo špatné si dát někde sraz. Sraz byl naplánován už se musel jen uskutečnit což se taky stalo sešli jsem se a začátek probíhal bez chyb program měla na starosti ona a ona si řekla že se pujdeme projít do parku já jsem to samozřejmě neodmital a tak jsme šli. Na schůzce ji pořád volala její kamarádka a já jsem jí ze zdvořilosti povoloval aby ji to zvedla no a potom co jsme přišli k jednomu z domů tak řekla náhle že jí bolý v krku jestli může jít domů já jsem ji to samozřejmě dovolil a zeptal jsem se kde bydlí abych jí tam aspoň doprovodil no ona bydlela hned v domě vedle nás takže jsem jí tam nedoprovodil a přislo mi že z odemkne chce vypadnout co nejdříve .
Schůzka zkončila rychle venku jsme nebyli ani 30 minut a já jsem šel domů od té doby jsme si moc nepsaly a po schůzce (ne rande) jsem si jí omluvil za schůzku že stála za nic no doteď s hrůzou vzpomínám na tu schůzku doslova to bylo peklo stala totiž za nic a příjde mi že ona chce spíše mého kamaráda než mě a tak nevím co dělat příjde mi že náš vztah umírá a já ho už nedokážu održovat tak dlouho jak bych si přál a tak se vás ptám má to smysl nebo to mám na dobro ukončit

2024.11.26 13:40 Subli The age old question of i18n, but with a twist: no SSR no SEO

I will start building a new B2B dashboard in early Jan 2025. This will be a full rewrite with several improvements from an existing Angular application. No code will be reused, and everything will be rebuilt from the ground up.
I do have experience with Svelte in production. However, I like to re-evaluate my options when starting something new. I would like some feedback on possible i18n solutions.
Here is a bit project info, not sure if it matters for i18n:

No SSR, no servers; everything will run on the client side. I have no say in that this will not change. The only "server" we can call is the project's REST API.
This is a B2B dashboard; SEO is not important at all.
Sveltekit with `adapter-static`
Typescript
Svelte 5
Tailwind (Hopefully 4.0 if it gets released till the start date)

Here is a bit of what I expect for my i18n solution:

As mentioned above, NO external connections
Must work without SSR
Variants are a must (Pluralization, dates, gender, currency localizations - especially on the punctuation, etc)
Ability to split one language into multiple files; our Angular version i18n files sit at 5k+ lines, which is not fun.
Low bundle sizes are appreciated, but the lowest on the priority list
Bonus points for good IDE tooling
Bonus points for NOT having the language on the URL. LocalStorage would be ideal
I don't care about localizing URLs, I would actually prefer not to

Here is what I have already tried:

sveltekit-i18n: My go to solution, I have tried it, I have tested it, works good, works reliably even with SSR off. Is very robust on the variant front. No external dependencies, always good to see. Biggest downside: has not been updated in a while (Jul 2023), not sure how Svelte 5 support is going to be. Nitpick - I always forget to setup translations on new routes, and IDE tooling is not good. Docs are also lackluster but there are lots of examples.
Paraglide: Tried it before, works fine, docs focus too much on their ecosystem, which I don't care about, but whatever (I still don't know what Lix is, and I still don't care). It seems to have been added as an option on the svelte creation script which adds a lot of points. Project seems promising enough. However they lack variant support, it is promised to Feb, but they have promised and delayed it several times before, I can't affor to wait around for it. Furthermore it seems to only support one file per language and needs to have the current language on the URL. Also they are a for-profit company, not purely a community driven project, companies need money to pay employees to keep things running and that is a good thing, well payed empoyees will maintain the library. However it is not clear (to me) how they make money and if they are making enough. If they are not this could cause them to paywall features that were once free and cause complications on the future depending on how they go about it. I would be happier if I knew they had healthy profit margins.
Tolgee: Used it before, seems nice if you need to change translations without deploying. But seems to always need to connect to another URL, as explained before I cannot connect to anything but the API URL. Even if I self hosted Security team would be mad at me. Big no-no.
svelte-i18n: I have not used it, but from what I read seems to fit the bill. But it does SEEM to be a little harder to setup and I have not found examples of splitting the translations for a single language into multiple files. Furthermore it *SEEMS to load all translations upfront. I need to invest more time on a demo project for it, but it stayed without updates for a whole year and still does not seem to have plans for svelte 5 runes (still using old reactivity)
typesafe-i18n: I have not used it. Seems to fit the bill. Setup seems to be the most complicated of them all. Latest version is more than one year old, not sure on how svelte 5 support will be.

Where I currently stand:
I am mostly thinking about sveltekit-i18n and typesafe-i18n.
The first one I am familiar with and I know how it works. Easy setup easy to use. Biggest concern is ongoing support and future compatibility when Svelte 4 syntax goes away eventually.
The second one is new to me, more complicated to setup and use, while sharing the same concerns on future updates. But with a bigger communitty it seems more likely to happen.
Paraglide seems to be the most promising one, with better future-proofness, even with the potential for paywalls in the future.
I could even live with the single file again as they seem to only load the translations needed.
I could live with their no-nesting.
I could live with the locale in the URL.
And despite having to live with three minor incoveniences I would be willing to give them a chance. But the lack of variants is a deal breaker.
Even if it release on Feb as they promised (and I don't trust it) I would need to test it as first releases tend to take a while to stabilize. The timing seems to be off, and the small things seem to pile up.

I recently bought Insta Doodle to make a whiteboard explanation video for a sales page that I was creating for a client. I'd normally outsource those videos from Fiverr but Insta Doodle is essentially the same price, so the cost is just the time investment, which is minimal. It sort of saves time because you can build exactly what you have in mind, whereas on Fiverr you have to explain what you want and then review the deliveries and get revisions which is time consuming. Anyway, I think using Insta Doodle to offer whiteboard videos on websites like Fiverr, Freelancer and Upwork would be an easy business idea to implement. The software's easy to use, there's basically no learning curve as it's self-explanatory so anyone can implement this idea. You could also sell on your own website at a steeper price and cold email businesses + advertise in small business Facebook groups.

So, im a new player that is completely blind to most things, ive seen names of items and enemies and places before but never how to unlock them or what EXACTLY they do, i have also looked up a few minor things, however, i wanna stay entirely blind to this and figure most of it out on my own....
However... I have seen some posts that said basically "oh wow yeah Ode to castlevania unlocks would literally be impossible without a guide! how is anyone suppose to figure that out!!"
so, my question is, if i as a new player go through the game blind, what are things i should look up instead of trying to brute force it, because it is "near impossible to find out on my own"
Minor spoilers ahead, if you are like 50 hrs in you prob know most of this.
Ive already figured out going to 31min gives unlocks for example, and the obvious ones such as level, duration, new character, new maps, blah blah blah.
