I love it when I'm sending my hard earned money to girls who have so much money already it doesn't even make that much of a difference to them which is why I dream about sending to celebrities so much.

I am currently clerking for a state superior court and am going to apply to some larger firms. I know I want to do litigation - potentially employment or business but that’s about it (It’s honestly hard to narrow down at this point in my career). What do I say in a cover letter that makes me stand out? I usually mention the firms practice areas and if they have pro bono I mention that because it’s what I want to do long-term. What do I write to avoid sounding basic?
I also don’t have the best grades- do I try and explain why or just not highlight it?

Hi, hoping someone can help here tbh
We've got ansible working with Linux in our place & I want to build a whole bunch of windows servers. But using the customisations in VMware
So it'll do the domain join part really.
I've turned off prompt for ip in customisations template, but the IP from yaml file isn't being applied
So the domain join fails as no working up address (fair enough).
Google shows loads of folk with same issue.
Just asking, has anyone ever got that to work & if so is there some special trick to it?

Bonjour,
Ma situation est plutôt spécifique. Je suis une étudiante étrangère qui vit en France avec un visa de long séjour.
Ça fait plusieurs années (même avant ma majorité) que je nourris l'espoir de pouvoir changer mon nom de famille pour prendre celui de ma mère au lieu de mon père dû à plusieurs raisons.
Dans mon pays d'origine, ce serait impossible ou trop laborieux. En France, la procédure est beaucoup plus simple, mais je ne suis pas française.
Cependant, j'ai appris que le nom d'usage pouvait au moins partiellement répondre à mon besoin. De ce que j'ai compris, je peux rajouter le nom de ma mère en nom d'usage et le faire apparaître dans mes documents officiels.
Cela souleve quelques questions :
Est ce que cela pourrait se retourner contre moi ? Mettons, peut-on me reprocher une différence entre le nom sur mon passeport (delivré par mon pays) et celui sur mon titre de séjour (donc par la France) ? Je pense notamment à la douane quand je prendrais l'avion pour revoir ma famille. Serais-je obligée de garder également le nom de mon père sur mes papiers ? Ou puis-je ne mettre que le nom d'usage ? Est ce qu'il ya une procédure spécifique pour cela ? Ou je dois simplement déclarer un changement de situation ?
Puis-je utiliser un nom d'usage même s'il ne figure pas sur mes papiers ? (Je pense au CV, documents administratifs liés à mon école, etc)

Dahil di ako member ng 4Ps alam ko wala na akong pag asa sa scholarship nato(public school student).
Nung nag survey noon para sa magiging member ng 4Ps linaktawan po ang pamilya namin, back then nakatira kami sa bahay ng parent ng tatay ko nasa may likuran nila kami kadikit lang din nung bahay nila sang pader lang pagitan wala kaming sariling kusina tsaka cr iisa ang higaan ng pamilya, alam yun nung mga nag survey pero in the end hindi kami nalista, nagtataka pa kami naklista dun yung iba na may kaya naman.
Isa pong mag sasaka ang pamilya namin dati, halos lahat naman ganun sa province ang hanap buhay. Guminhawa lang unti buhay namin nung nag hanap yung kamag anak ng mama ko ng mag babantay ng bahay nya dito sa Angeles. Si mama lang dapat yun at may sweldo sana yun kung sya lang, kaya di ko aure kung ano ang naginh desisyon at buong pamilya namin ang lumuwas papuntang Angeles.
Mahigit isang dekada na rin po kami dito, at ngayon ay 2nd year college na nga ako, gusto ko sana kahit malista man lang ako sa scholarship nato kaya lang mukang malabo na masali ako. Security Guard ang tatay ko pero minimum wage lang din at nagagastus din agad dahil sa mahal ang mga bilihin dito pang foreigner po ang price. Sa totoo lang ang ate ko ang nag bibigay sakin ng allowance kada sahod nya(csr po sya).
Kung itatanong nyo po, yes po nandito pa rin po kami sa bahay ng pinsan ng mama ko, actually lumipat na kami nun kaya lang pinabalik ulit kasi walang nagustuhang katulong sa bahay ang tita ko, kaya ang sabi nila hanggang maka graduate na lang daw ako tumira kami dito.
Nag rant lang po ako, feeling ko kasi ang unfair pa rin na hindi kami na lista sa 4Ps, wala nga kaming ibang pangkabuhayan noon eh. At ang masasabi ko lang matino kaming estudyante ng ate ko, di naman sa nag mamayabang dati kasi yung ate ko is consistent na nasa top 5 yun, at ako naman is di lumalabas sa top 10 kaya bakit di kami naging member, may iba nga akong nakikita na may kaya naman sa buhay ang ganda nung bahay nila pero bakit nalista sila. Niiyak na lang ako pag naiisip ko to, ang unfair ng buhay kung wala kayong connection at pera.
Yun lang po salamat kung binasa nyo po lahat.

2024.11.26 14:26 TedStixon Anyone here have experience with getting rid of a rep-payee for things like SSI?

So damn-near 15 years ago, I was kind of duped into getting a rep-payee for SSI. We had a severe natural disaster and I literally lost my home and just about everything I owned. And I was financial fucked for a few months because I was basically having to spend almost all my money on replacing basic necessities and things I needed to just... function.
And I was far from alone, since most people in my area, disabled or not, lost most of their things and were stuck dealing with insurance companies and all that jazz. And basically, someone convinced me that it would be in my best interest to get a rep-payee to help control my finances for a while.
And it was the dumbest thing I've ever done since I lost control of money and needed to pretty much beg and grovel for breadcrumbs anytime I need more than a few bucks for something.
I was finally able to transfer and make a family member a rep-payee a few years ago, but now even that is becoming an issue. Ex. My job had to cut hours in the fall because we were so slow, so my last few paychecks have been non-existent. I desperately need money and I know for fact I have almost too much in my rep-payee account.
But getting any of it is like pulling teeth because my rep-payee doesn't seem to understand that you just need money to function in the world. They'd rather argue about how "You'd have money if you stopped spending so much on Amazon!" (even though I haven't bought any leisure items on Amazon in months), or "You need to be more responsible and budget!" (even though I quite literally do).
They're completely out of touch and seem to think you can just live in this world without spending a dime... and that's just not possible. I don't even have enough for a single Uber ride, and they think that's just dandy
It's nonsensical.
Does anyone know anything about this sort-of thing or how easy/hard it is to get control of your money again?
