 | So this is kind of a weird situation. These little critters are ONLY in my son's geckos tank. They show up every couple days drowned in the water dish. I have checked his room thoroughly, nothing in the sheets/beds/clothes/carpets. Spotless. My son doesn't have any bites.  | Hi it’s me again! I’ve been trawling for non-leather 1.5L fanny pack / sling bags for a 7-week trip to Australia / NZ / South East Asia. I want it to be able to securely hold my passport, camera (Olympus film camera), phone, sunscreen, lip balm and wallet for a day out. I also want it to be cute and not black! Will be pairing with white/beige converse platform sneakers or brown leather sandals most days. Would love thoughts on these options!! Sadly I am not a fan of Lulu so their bags are out. I want something a little cool and fun but also practical for travel! Tysm!

Some girl started bitching about it and I told her she didn't have to be rude so she started going on a yap about her "second Amendmen right to speech" and so I made a comment about how it's still rude. So she hit me with the "who asked" and I said "me, it's part or my amendment" and then she started yapping for at least 30 minutes just saying "im taking your rights" "your no longer American" I don't know if it was bc I'm clearly gay/trans or bc she was just trya be a jealous

First, I am enjoying this game so much . Something fresh and not some old shooter formula. I never played the originals, so this is all new for me.
I am 60 years old and retired, so I play in rookie mode, as my reflexes are not what they used to be, but I am still enjoying it. That said, I have a military background and would like to add these thoughts to the conversation.
- Night ops - soldiers depend on human night vision, as the eyes adjust to darkness. For this reason, we avoid white light as much as possible and definatly never look directly into it.
We never use white light on our maps,we use color filters to avoid detection from the enemy and not impact our night vision.
- If a white light is to be used, it is a weapon attachment, to assist in aim and avoid making your head the enemy target.
- In a survival situation, it would be more realistic to be restricted to one main weapon, side arm and a knife, but to balance increase ammo taken from downed enemy.
- Better the balance of weapon and equipment endurance by adding a soldier maintenance mechanic, where we can add partial durability by doing our own cleaning and field repair with consumable supplies like 4×2s and oil, vest plates.
- Add enemy damage realism by introducing weak points. Even a bloodsucker should be downed, if you can manage a head shot.
- Add enemy stagger with a weapon butt stroke and the introduction of bayonets. The bayonets should also add bleed effect on all enemies.
- NATO night vision gear is image intensified using star light, but Russian gear uses Infra Red. Introduce IR gear with consumable batteries that must be rationed.
- I know the devs planned the day / night cycle like this purposely, but it does not work. Day and night need to be equal and longer in duration, to feel more natural.

I recently purchased a pair of Velasca shoes and wanted to share my thoughts with fellow shoe enthusiasts. The shoes are made in Montegranaro, Italy using full-grain French calf leather and feature Blake-Rapid stitching construction.
Quality & Construction
The leather quality is impressive - supple yet sturdy. The Blake-Rapid construction makes the shoes flexible while maintaining good support and stability. They use Vibram soles which provide excellent grip and durability.
Fit & Comfort
The shoes run true to size in European sizing (43 = UK 9). The last has a regular F width that works well for medium-width feet. The break-in period was minimal and they became very comfortable quickly. The toe box is somewhat roomy, which could be good if you have wider feet or high insteps.

A little while ago I was watching something and as an aside the person quickly and efficiently explained the difference between a law and a theory in science. I can't for the life of me remember exactly what is was, who it was, or even what the subject of the video was. I think it was maybe Steve Mould so I figured I'd ask here. We used to be so close. I can sense how they love drama and choose to backstab others at work, especially assistant head manager. I treated them the same, but boundary was there, I know I can't fully trust them.
All of a sudden, they slowly won't invite me to lunch, or for a drink. Kahit anong gala. This one person also started to unfollow me.
It all started when they observed that our assistant head manager was being nice to me, they immediately told me I was her 'favorite' but I denied it. Ayoko sabihin sipsip, but I feel like that's how they view me. Because I want to treat others professionally, we're not a child na kailangan pa maging snob, or won't greet politely just because others don't like them. If balik tayo sa senses natin, the assistant head manager ang mag evaluate, promote or report sa mga gawain namin.
I just feel hurted, and hanggang ngayon, isa na lang naiwan sa grupo na to, but she continues to spread the negativity, I observed na she purposely invite newly hired sa gala nila or lunch out but continue to exclude me.
We were once friends and lagi niya sinasabi na gusto niya mainggit yung tao sa kanya. Like purposely pinapa inggit niya yung tao.

I (23m) have been dating my gf (20f) for about 5 months, all was great until she told me about her past 2 months into the relationship. So at the beginning of our relationship we did initially have the body count conversation (I actually didn’t care to know but she wanted to know) she ended up telling me she had 7 & I have 8. It wasn’t that big of a deal to me. Fast forward a few months we then had another conversation that she brung up stating “there’s more about her past she had to tell me about”. She then went on to tell me about how she was r*ped for 3 years from the ages of 13-16 by her adoptive brother “everyday”(he was also a kid, only a year older than her). She even give me some details I wish I didn’t know such as he was violent (broken her jaw , made her take pils etc).
Obviously this Upset me to hear my gf went thru this & she was very emotional telling me. I had a range of emotions directed towards the offender such as anger, also anger towards her parents for not being aware of this (some of the emotions I still feel today). I also had confusion as to why she never spoke up, she never told me why she never did but I felt it was best for me not to ask because I felt like I didnt need to know anymore information for my mentals sake. She also then told me that after she was finally free, she went on a quick spree of sleeping with 4 different guys, 3 of the guys were all in the same friend group (this really bothered me, because of her jumping from friend to friend).
Anyway the combination of her unfortunate r*pe & the 3 friends has been causing me extreme mental anguish, sometimes I feel physically ill from the thoughts. Because my mind makes me vividly see the things that possibly took place. I have recently sought out therapy for feeling this way because sometimes I feel resentment towards her for these emotions I’m feeling, & also like I wish she would have told me the details sooner or just never at all. To make the situation worse we recently found out she was pregnant. Which is more of a reason why I am doing therapy because I feel like this could affect our relationship if I don’t get past it. Honestly if she wasn’t pregnant I would have probably broken up with her just because the thoughts are too much to bare. AITAH for feeling this way?
