Hey all! So I am semi-new to SWADE but loving it!
Question. I was thinking of running a Firefly-esque campaign and wondered what books I would need for starship combat and handling rules? 2024.11.26 16:35 Haunting-Package-361 Thoughts about my Leesa Legend
As someone used to relying on customer feedback for big purchases, the utterly chaotic range of views expressed with regards to mattresses and this one in particular is both baffling and frustrating. That said, here is my contribution. I bought the Leesa Legend coming from a 6 year old dense memory foam bed. I weigh 145 lbs and didn't have any issues with that bed but it was showing signs of wear in that it was clear that the foam was softening where the pressure was greatest, under my hips. As a side sleeper that isn't desirable in principle but again, it wasn't causing any problems so far as I was concerned. Still, the short service life of that bed prompted me to look seriously at the new hybrid beds which promise a longer service life. The Legend has features which indicate that it was designed with side sleepers in mind, it is supposed to be fairly soft, with zoning to support the hips and a softer layer at the head to relieve pressure on the shoulders. When it was a new model, the reviews on line were generally very positive as well. The fact that it is now treated as yesterday's news appears to be down to the nature of the bed business. A few days in, I can find no reason to contradict those positive critical reviews. It is providing good support while also giving the immediate impression of being comfortably soft at my hips and shoulders. As a side sleeper, I conclude, mission accomplished.
This is of course early days, and if the support softens up my opinion could change. The reason for that concern is the fairly unique zoning of this bed, with a firm foam section in the middle giving way to microcoils at the foot and head. Usually this zoning is accomplished by using firmer coils in the middle. And you can see that approach subsequently in Leesa's follow up to this bed (the Legend Chill), so it appears the novel approach of the Legend has been tossed aside. Further evidence for this possibility is the pricing of this bed has fallen steeply since its introduction, suggesting this model has not been successful at least commercially, perhaps because it is wearing out prematurely. But I have no evidence of this, and the worst I can say about the bed is that it does not overwhelm me with cloudlike plushness. I am as susceptible to marketing as anyone else, and the prospect of sleeping on a cloud does seem ideal if also absurdly unrealistic.
I have a lingering concern that at 145 lbs I may be somewhat lighter than the target audience for this bed, leading me to perceive it as somewhat firm despite the general consensus that it falls on the softer side of that catch-all term. In other words, I'm still dreaming of sleeping on a cloud. The bed was inexpensive enough that I had planned on buying a very good memory foam mattress topper if I found it too firm. As a side sleeper I do like the cradling provided by memory foam, it just seems to be prone to short lived, as well as unavoidably being hotter. I think that the virtues and drawbacks of this material are unavoidable, and it is possible to argue that the Leesa Legend is a carefully considered response to the irreconcilable issues of memory foam. You could argue alternatively that the Legend is an attempt to please everyone and that the market has decided that attempt failed. Leesa's most recent bed, and what is now its most expensive, may provide insight into what the company thinks about these issues. The Reserve is an unapologetic memory foam bed. It comes in two boxes, a spring coil base and a separate thick memory foam section on top, that zip together. The zoned support is now entirely in the spring coil base. This attempt to have the best of both worlds suggests at least the possibility that the foam section could be renewed or replaced down the line, addressing the problem of the shorter service life of memory foam. I don't know what they've done to address the heat problem but this looks like the future to me. But it is also 3x to 4x as expensive as the Legend, and my Legend plus a top quality memory foam topper does a pretty good job of imitating what they're doing with the Reserve. I think I'll be quite happy with my bed, at least for long enough that the Reserve becomes yesterday's news and is priced accordingly...

The boy in white was the first, and most likely is actually dead we are just seeing him walking through a story in the future. He’s also the only one able to change the story some how (preventing victor from cutting down the tree).
Julie, Ethan, viktor, and the Ahnkooey kids are all story walkers.

How can I mark if there's a duplicate? Like create a field, if there's a duplicate, I get ❌or if there's no duplicate ✅.
Same goes for cross reference, if I got criteria in one table like asking price and in the other I got table budget, how can I have like a field that matches the two.

Every couple of weeks I get a flare with an explosion of flakes and extreme redness on and under my chin and under my nose. Each time this happens I try to figure out what caused it. This time I was confident it wasn't going to happen because I am not drinking but no I was wrong. Now I am going to look like a clown for Thanksgiving.
Do others here have flare-ups that happen on a consistent schedule?
