Iām a teacher and need a laptop for school. Iāve been looking at the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 but as the model Iād need is horrifficly expensive, a friend of mine pointed me towards framework.
Iāve already got an iPad for on-screen drawing and using airplay at school, so I can pass on the touchscreen that made the Microsoft Laptop attractive.
I need the Laptop to do a few things: - the usual school-related tasks like microsoft office, onenote, iserv - I like to do some gaming in my free time, games like factorio, starbound, Anno or civilization - as I draw Iād like the laptop to have a fairly good and accurate screen
Iāve been looking at the framework laptops - but I struggle to see a difference between the 13 and the 16 and wether Intel or AMD would be a better choice. I honestly donāt have much knowlege about computers so I was hoping for some help.
What would you reccomend?

Hi, first of all sorry if my english isnt perfect, this isn't my primary language.
So i'm a male college student and there's a girl in my class i find really attractive and i would like to get to know her.
The problem is i dont know how to approach her because she always comes to class late and bolt right out after the end. So i don't have much of a window to talk to her here. Plus the last thing i want is to be a bother.
i tried to start something by talking to her by message yesterday by asking her for some pictures of the board she took during class. Point is it didnt go so well, she sent me the pictures and we talked a bit. But then she didnt know who i was (i don't have a pfp so that was expected) so she asked me. Then when i described her who i was she left me on "seen".
So at this point i'm feeling pretty bummed out and when i talked to a girl friend or mine she said that i should just go speak to her and say "hey, i found you really pretty and would you like for us to get to know eachother ?". But i feel like i would just make her feel uncomfortable (especially since it would be in front of multiple people including her friends) and i find it pretty direct. But at this point i don't think i can afford to take my time especially since the semester ends in 2 weeks and then class will change and i probably won't be with her.
So what do you think i should do ?

The Cutty and Grizl look like a lot of fun and easier to acquire. I don't really care about weight, I want something that's versitle and fun to ride.

During my viva voce, my main supervisor unexpectedly removed my co-supervisor without prior notification, which came as a shock. The main supervisor bluntly stated that the co-supervisor had to be removed, citing ethics, but never invited the co-supervisor to collaborate on the paper or to the oral defense. On paper, the main supervisor had approved and signed that the co-supervisor was part of my PhD program.
After graduation, I raised this issue with my main supervisor and asked for justification regarding the last-minute removal of the co-supervisor's name from my thesis. The co-supervisor's name had appeared on the PowerPoint slides and in the thesis draft, except for the final version. I had to remove the co-supervisor after informing him via phone, during which he suggested that my graduation was important and that I should proceed without any drama.
Additionally, my main supervisor did not proofread or contribute intellectually to my papers throughout my PhD program. All he cared about was whether he was the corresponding author; he also never acted as a liaison between the co-authors and the journal. I asked if he would like to be a co-author for my upcoming papers from my PhD research, with the understanding that he needed to contribute to manuscript writing or revisions. I sent a couple of emails but received no response over a span for 4 months. Consequently, I decided to reach out to the department, where my main supervisor serves as a co-chair (he was also CC'd on the email). The department took some time to respond and sent an email without CC'ing him, stating that the thesis issue should have been handled properly. They also suggested that authorship issues should be resolved by the authors, as it is a sensitive topic.
In an effort to maintain transparency and adhere to established research ethics principles, I gave my main supervisor a chance to address the issue, but he did not respond. I informed all my co-authors about the situation, and some requested clarification. I exchanged email copies, and since my main supervisor did not respond to my emails, we decided that we could proceed with the submission while acknowledging him. I have already submitted two manuscripts under these conditions, and they are currently under review.
Now, I am leading another paper from the lab that is not part of my research but involves helping a colleague publish their work. We have mutually decided that my main supervisor will not contribute to writing or revisions, as they are aware of what happened with my situation and one of theirs. He did general supervision and not more that, as I found some missing data so I had to clean the data, recode them and analyze them again.
In this situation, if someone were in my position, how would they handle it? Should I revisit the process, given that there has been no response to my previous emails, or should I inform the department again about this issue, or should I simply proceed with the submission?
This situation is quite confusing, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance on how to handle it. Thank you!

Hear me out, I think the leaker might be wrong this time.
Mortal Kombat was named as one of the few IPs that Warner Brothers will focus on after the failure of their recent other franchises

So there is no way they just stop MK1 with no updates and content and just starve one of their focused franchises for 3-4 years until the sequel game comes out, because then where would the money they make come from.
Also a new Mortal Kombat live action movie (the sequel to the 2021 one) is coming out in November 2025, which is around the time that Kombat Pack 3 and Story Expansion 2 would be out. If the movie is a success (since the previous instalment, the 2021 movie, was a big hit on HBO Max, since cinemas were closed at that time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it exceeded WBās expectations), and which it probably will, they would obviously release new content to keep up with the hype of the movie, since they would probably be trending on social media, and if they didnāt do that, not releasing new content and updates, that would be a failed opportunity.

Also they do all the deals and agreements for licensing before the game even comes out, so they would have already paid the other franchises to put their characters in it, and they would probably be in trouble/lose a lot of money if they didnāt release the guest characters/content. And since WB is already financially unstable, it would not be at their interests to do this.
Also even though this is kinda unreliable source, Ed Boon is active on twitter and constantly posts like references and hints, and he recently posted something about Kill Bill, so it could be a hint of Kombat Pack 3, but I would take that with a grain of salt.
I believe that the Kombat pack 3 will come out, along with the story expansion, which they probably have already finished doing and filming/editing, like last year, since Main game story and Expansion 1 were done before the game came out, so expansion 2 would have been worked on around late 2023 - late 2024. The game is going anywhere. They still need money (we need money Arthur, to go to Tahiti) even if it performed poorly, as the leaker claims.
