Hi guys,
Recently last week after waiting for a year for my spouse to get his interview letter (Islamabad embassy), and waiting close to almost 3 years during this whole IR1 process, I finally decided to contact our local congressional representative and have them inquire about the delay on our behalf.
My husband was DQ’d for his visa last year July 2023 and we noticed Pakistan is covering way past that, they’re in like October 2023.
So anyways, the congresswoman got a response back from the NVC and the NVC said that all of our documents are good and approved, nothing else extra is needed. They said Pakistan is covering anything before August 2023 and that it’s first in first out basis (sounds like bs based on what I’m seeing but alright lol). NVC also stated that they have forwarded the expedite request to the Islamabad Embassy (which I’m assuming that means the expedite request has been approved by the US)
So my question is, for anyone who has had an expedite request approved and forwarded, how have things faired for you? How fast did things move after that? How soon did you receive any type of correspondence? Or were they futile efforts? Im just trying to figure out what to expect bc I’ve kept my expectations low so far.

I joined this game a bit over a week ago and then the experience was fine matchmaking wise etc. but since I completed my ranked placement matches that placed me into silver 1 the game has been absolute fucking hell. In SILVER or even in deathmatch games every single person hits headshots from no matter how far away without ads within miliseconds of seeing me. In any other game this would be extremely high level of play already but here this is apparently silver level that I should go against after playing for a bit over a week?! Even trying to improve at consistently hitting headshots THIS INHUMANLY FUCKING FAST is not possible without me wanting to kms because deathmatch games are so frustrating bc of everyone being SO much fucking better than me. I have thousands of hours in other pvp shooters, just not the type of game like valorant and I can not understand how literally every player hits those shots ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

I (20F) was diagnosed with gw a year ago and treated them with creams and they went away by I’d say 3 treatments weeks. I disclosed to my partner what was going on as we had sex whilst I unknowingly had warts (1-3 tiny patches hiding inside my vagina). A year along the line I presume he must have the virus in some way. Went to the clinic today for a different issue and spoke on my diagnosis, she suggested how especially since I’ve had no reoccurrence since that I don’t have the virus anymore. I asked about dormancy and giving it to other people potentially and she said how that’s only with HSV ( herpes). I don’t know I’ve always read different everywhere no one exactly knows. But she told me you don’t have it anymore and you wouldn’t need to disclose. I asked what if they ever got warts she said it’s a skin infection very common and it can be treated, but it doesn’t mean it’s from you. I just have felt so much guilt and shame I never saw any on any previous partners so surely that’s able to happen from me to others.
