2024.11.26 17:40 Distinct_Repeat_2198 Has anybody used this C1 Offer?
 | I’ve never used C1 offers before. I made an account but never purchased anything yet with cook unity and then signed in after clicking the offer link. However, cook unity says I won’t be charged until tomorrow at noon. My question(s) are: 1) Do I need to re-open the link before noon tomorrow in order to get the 53x miles? 2) I have Rakuten added as an extension for 15% back, do I need to disable that? I wish C1 offers were like Amex or chase where it’s just added to the card and applies directly with the merchant instead of a specific opened window via referral link. Warning: rant incoming. I started getting really aggravated with this show when Geoff was voted off. But I stuck with it. Later I got REALLY aggravated with the terrible, deceptive editing, repetitive height challenges and all the wailing and crying, and the stupid helicopter stuff. But I told myself, you’ve invested so many hours you should just stick it out until the end. But When they allowed whoever won the race to the bag (where sometimes touching first is good, sometimes bad) to unilaterally kick Dusty out, that was the final straw. Done. Out. Gone. It’s called the sunk cost FALLACY for a reason. I will be over here hoping fervently that Beckylee gets voted off, but not watching the rest of this season or any future season. Such a stupid silly waste of my time.

Greetings, battle brothers!
Ok, larping aside, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been dealing with horrendous network connection issues.
I've lately been unable to get past the main screen because the game just won't connect to the servers, so I could only run the game in offline mode for the past week.
Decided to try again today, to no avail, but when I turned off the game I noticed my wifi was off. My wifi was working just fine prior to launch, so I got curious.
I launched the game and then alt+tab into my desktop. After trying to launch the browser, the wifi disconnected.
Turns out that I had a battery setting that for some reason would turn off the wifi when certain games would launch (but weirdly it only triggers on Space Marine 2, other games run just fine)
Now I am able to actually make it past the title screen reliably and log into the server.
However, once I try to get into a game, after a short while I still lose connection to the servers. I imagine that part is on Sabre's end, but maybe someone has found an alternative solution?
My rig is an Aorus gaming laptop (PC supremacists, please chill) running Windows 10.
