I have a client who consistently books me 20-30 minutes before she needs me. In the past I had boundaries and just wouldn’t accept clients who behave badly but all those boundaries went out the door when my husband took a $60k pay cut this year and we’ve struggled to pay our mortgage. Rover went from fun extra money to essential employment and now I take everything. This morning she booked me 20 minutes in advance and I’m 15 miles away taking care of someone else’s dog. I declined and explained that I need more heads up.
Does this affect my search rankings? Dammit I hate how Rover treats their sitters. I’ve been declining bookings a lot and archiving sooo many people who send a booking request and then disappear into the ether never to be heard from again.

I'm just curious on how big some of your larger border collies are/have gotten?
My boy loki is 9 months old, already 22 kilos (48.5 pounds) and as tall if not taller than some of our friends adult collies. He seems to be in good shape in terms of little excess weight too. He's just a big boy!

thankfully i had lunch next, bc i was crying. one kid had an accident, one kid needed to go to the nurse bc of a stomachache, two kids were crying bc they wanted their moms. i called the people i needed to be called, but it was just so overwhelming and ik I shouldn’t complain – but it was a lot. i’m a fairly new sub, i’ve only been subbing for a week and a half, but it was a lot. i just need to know if i’m going to be okay, and if this is normal.

2024.11.26 17:41 Amazing-Back-2244 Landlord holding deposit for cracked dishwasher
Our landlord is being super picky about a small crack that we didn't report to our estate agent. The estate agent manages the let for him and deposit is with DPS. The crack is from heat and (from doing a bit of googling) seems to be a common issue with dishwashers. We used it quite often and our rental period was 2 years. He wants us to pay for a professional to investigate and repair it and to pay for all the costs. Given that our only fault was not reporting it (because the crack was so small), and using the dishwasher most days, does this mean we would be liable or should the landlord foot the bill? I can't tell if I'm being unreasonable or if the landlord is just trying it on. Thanks
