I have a chance at getting some fresh meat straight from a farm. I've never had non-aged meat. I wonder what it tastes like. Do you guys age it before you eat it raw? I also sometimes like my steak cooked on the outside thinly and raw on the inside. But I have no idea how this would fare with non-aged meat. Any pointers or advice would be apprecaited!

2024.11.26 17:14 Masih-Development I can barely do yoga because I get injuries from it.
I want to do it more often because it makes me feel so good but I often get small muscle tears from it. Even if I stretch very lightly and mindfully. I don't get it from resistance training. Are my muscle fibers too lengthened? What to do about this?

2024.11.26 17:14 CopperGenie How do I get the most out of the battery of a Legion Pro 5 16IRX9?
I'm upgrading from a Lenovo P51 to a Legion Pro 5, and I'm trying to get the battery life figured out on the new laptop. My P51 can give me 8+ hours of life if I'm doing low-resource stuff like coding, reading PDFs, etc. With low brightness, "best power efficiency" power mode, and no high-performance apps running as far as I can tell from task manager, I'm getting about 2-3 hours on the Legion. What can I do to improve further? I know they're two different series and have different main purposes, but surely that's not the best it can do. Thanks!

For example Clumsy Steward, if you are drawing a card from your deck and it is a Temporary card, doesn't it just get discarded? What is the good use of this? You wouldn't keep it at all. Trying to understand the good of this mechanic, I guess cards that "do X if cards are discarded" but typically I don't see the use of this.

Please help me interpret these results! I am sort if freaking out.
36 y/o female I’ve gained about 20lbs and am struggling to lose it. My doctor did a full work up and we are meeting in a few weeks to discuss my results. Can someone help explain this to me while I wait?!
My tests were all done with me fasting prior.
My CBC and Comprehensive Metabolic Panel all came back normal. Where I’m concerned is in regards to the tests that indicate diabetes.
My fasting HbA1c result: 5.5 (anything below 5.7 is normal) but I used to be around 4.6!
My insulin result: 21.8 you/mL (it’s flagged as abnormal)
My fasting glucose came back normal at 86
My TSH W/Reflex to FT4 result 1.48 mIU/L
My HDL was 42 (normal range > or = 50) LDL was 128 and flagged My non HDL was 151 and flagged Total cholesterol 193
DOES THIS MEAN IM ON TRACK FOR PRE-DIABETES?
I admit I put on weight due to some depression, I used to workout 5days a week eat healthy and I stopped that, but this is giving me a kick in the butt to get my stuff together!
If someone could give me some insight on what the results may mean while I wait to see my doctor, I would appreciate it!
He did say if my test showed signs of insulin resistance we could look into things to help me lose weight.

2024.11.26 17:14 Few-Ice-4571 Thralls & Commandos attack distinction
After playing ZS for a few hours this weekend I noticed how similar the Thralls and Commandos attacks seem to be. (visually, attack speed-wise & sound-wise)
They probably didn't want Commandos to have machine guns like marines in SC2, but at the moment they seem too similar to thralls aside from the jetpack ability.
The first part of the solution I'd propose is seemingly different attack speeds.
What I mean by "seemingly different attack speeds" is keeping the actual same damage output and attack speed, but make it appear faster with a damage over time effect so it looks like it's a constant stream of damage from a machine gun. This way nothing would have to be balanced.
Now I did say "Machine gun" again which was something ZS is trying to avoid, and this brings me to the second part of the solution. You don't want the Commando/Thrall to be a 1:1 copy of the marine.
But let me justify my position a little. The commandos attack is a faster than the ghost from SC1, but much slower than the machine gun marines from SC2. I think a faster machine gun attack visual and sound is a lot more satisfying, and would be good for you're first campaign starter unit the commando
Whereas a slower SC1 ghost attack doesn't really give you the same dopamine rush
So I think vastly different attack sounds and "seemingly" different attack speeds would not only differentiate the Thralls and Commandos, but also make Commandos more satisfying to use.
And one sound I would highly recommend is a plasma gun type of sound (like the Plasma Rifle from halo). I think this and the jetpack would be enough to differentiate itself from the marine, but also be differentiated from the Thralls.
