LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE
Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: 1K USD. Really, the cheaper the better.
Are you open to refurbs/used? (please) no because this opens a whole new monster of different options and that's scary. I am a horribly indecisive person.
How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? As long as it's functional. I WOULD prefer a longer battery life but I'm also accustomed to a laptop that would die after 30min of light work so...
How important is weight and thinness to you? Likely going to be used mostly at home so I don't mind. However, I do NOT want a desktop as I will be moving around soon.
Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. N/A
Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Yes, I'd like to run UE5 or Unity (or both), Blender, etc. I want to pursue a degree in game dev and I'm not entirely sure what other programs are necessary. I want to be able to play games (like Hollow Knight or Portal) too but that is a bonus and not a requirement at all.
If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Playable = good
Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? USB/HDMI ports would be nice. Don't mind too much.
Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I currently have a MacBook that's still in really good shape. Depending on the laptop recommended, I think I may continue using it for most things and use the laptop just for game development/gaming. I also plan on completely upgrading my whole set up in about 3 years (replacing my laptop/s, getting a desktop, etc etc) so I don't need a computer that is built for lasting, if that makes sense. My minimum ram is 16GB and minimum storage is 512GB ssd. The more space the better but I heard that ram is what costs a lot of money. I really do not have a lot of money and I am only considering getting a laptop because of Black Friday sales (so in a way, I also prefer a laptop that's actually on sale rn, but I also would totally accept and appreciate general suggestions).
I hope this is all helpful information and I am super thankful to everybody who read this far! The JR checks the house with French. That is two times now that door was not checked. Then with Fleet White. So that is now 3 trips to the basement, and that room not checked.
The forth time he goes straight there?
Now watch the basement video. You go down the stairs, turn 90 degrees to go down the last few stairs and you are looking DIRECTLY at thay door.
In my opinion, there is no reason JR ignored that door at least twice if not three times before checking it. Unless it was intentional.

So, I'm 23M and just got rejected last week (she has issues to solve first, it was better this way for both of us), I got over it pretty quickly. Still, that whole situation had some very positive effects on me, as I think quite highly of myself right now, I used to do the opposite, but now I feel confident enaugh to be active in my search for a life mate, my only issue is that I'm not too sure how to find someone, let me try to explain:
For starteters, to me it doesn't matter how good looking a woman is, if she is unable to intellectually keep up with me I lose interest very fast; and that's a problem becouse I'm the kind of guy that has a well above avarage IQ and actually likes to think and debate, and as a repressed extrovert I can't indefinetly stfu, so I need someone that can engage around my level to not get bored.
On top of that, as a christian I'm also supposed to date other christians with the intent of eventually get married, wich is in fact what I want to do; and to make things even worst I'm also (again, apparently) very attractive too, so considering that most successful couples tend to be in the same range of physical attractiveness, my potential pool gets shorter and shorter, especially so considering that christian women of my age are usually already in a serious relationship. I'm also adamant about keeping my verginity untill marriage, so even tho I don't really care about my future wife being a virgin too, I would much prefer so.
Now, my social circle is very small, I don't have many friends and most of them don't have a christian background so I can't get "help" from them. The place I live in is boring, without opportunities and really badly connected, so most people around my age leave as soon as they can and as a resoult my local church is esentially full of only kids and elders.
My best bets right now are the gym and public transport, wich I use almost daily, but even so it's less than ideal since approaching random girls in these scenario feels kinda creepy, and most of the times I never get to meet them again so I can't even use the excuse of seeing them often as a conversation starter.
I don't really know how to start, or where...

Hi, so I've just bought an Epix 2.
When I go to map manager it has a lot of golf maps in there but no topo maps.
I select "add map" and it then says "searching for WiFi network"
Then it brings me back to the "add map" screen. If I press this option again it says "sync already in progress"
It then brings me back to "add map" once again. If I then press it it will again say "searching for WiFi network" and then "sync already in progress" ad infinitum.
I've no idea if it's actually downloading any topo maps or not.
Am I doing something wrong?

If you have been in left wing spaces for the past couple days, you have probably seen or heard about this email that Bernie sent a few days ago. Basically, it was a massive condemnation of the democratic establishment which Bernie said are "much too wedded to the billionaires and corporate interests that fund their campaigns". He also said some stuff about building a 50 state movement and recruiting more working class candidates at all levels of government. The biggest theory being spread around regarding the implications of the email is that Bernie is going to make a new third party. I doubt that however. A third party in America's voting system is a fools errand and Bernie is way smarter than that. I wonder, what is his game plan and what is he hinting at in that email?
