About Chronic Compulsive Eaters Anonymous (CCEA). CCEA is a fellowship of individuals who have recovered from compulsive behaviors with food – binging, purging, starving, overexercising, etc. Being recovered doesn’t mean that we’re cured, but rather that our obsession has been removed. As chronic compulsive eaters, nothing we tried in the past – no pill, no diet, no avoidance strategy, no support group – has helped our ability to manage or control our compulsive eating. We found freedom by utilizing the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous as our precise directions for working the 12 steps. The actions outlined in the Big Book show us how the first 100+ alcoholics achieved their recovery from alcoholism; if we do what they did, we can achieve the same results. We can live a life of “sane and happy usefulness” (from the Big Book, page 130). This process was not easy, soft, or gentle for any of us, but we find it infinitely easier and better than our lives when we were eating compulsively: We don’t need to obsessively work food plans, manage triggers, or be shielded from temptation. Why the Big Book? Time and experience have proven it to be the most successful approach to the Steps no matter what the addictive problem may be. It lays out the actions that worked for the founders of Twelve Steps and it works for us today. You can read the Big Book online for free at AA.org.
Our Primary Purpose. Our primary purpose is carrying the message of recovery to the compulsive eater who still suffers. We recommend this program to those who are without other options, who are without hope of recovery by any other method. We offer you hope through the solution that has worked for each of us.
This is a Literature Meeting. Today we are studying the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, page xxviii. "Men and women drink essentially because they like the effect produced by alcohol. The sensation is so elusive that, while they admit it is injurious, they cannot after a time differentiate the true from the false." (from the Big Book, page xxviii)
Suggested Guidelines for Sharing. We ask that you confine your sharing to your experience with the illness of compulsive eating, the solution found in the 12 steps, and your own recovery from the illness, rather than just the events of the day or week. When responding to other members’ posts, please focus on your personal experience rather than giving advice. We suggest you speak to your sponsor or other members of this group via private message if you need to talk more about your difficulties or seek guidance.
Sponsors. Sponsors are recovered chronic compulsive eaters committed to living the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions to the best of their ability. To find a sponsor, look for someone who has what you want and ask how he or she is achieving it. It will be helpful for those looking for a sponsor if all recovered sponsors identify themselves in their posts.

I'm low-tech, sXe, and working class. I like aggressive concerts, abandoned places, nature oriented activities, philosophy, cognitive sciences, BDSM, and body modifications. Apparently, that's not a long enough post, so here's more: I consider myself a misanthrope cause, imo, most people are either too stupid or too mean to interact with when I'm content on my own. One of my biggest pet peeves is people who insist upon themselves, your personality should speak for itself. I'm working on finding creative outlets cause I find myself to be a detrimentally analytical person. I consider myself a perceptive person, my intuition rarely reads incorrectly, so I trust it. I was recently asked about the difference between AAM and CP, so I wanted to share my understanding: • AAM refers to the system as a whole, encompassing CP along with all its associated packages, including CCP. • CP specifically refers to the provider installed on an application host. • CCP, while also considered a CP, is hosted on a dedicated server and serves requests via a WebService.
Follow-up Question: Why do organizations use both AAM and CPs (could be CCP and CP)?
From my experience, I’ve seen organizations using both CP and CCP for specific use cases. Often, CCP is recommended to minimize the number of licenses required for each CP installation, which can optimize resource usage and reduce costs.
I’d appreciate any additional insights or corrections to my understanding.

These items require that you provide your custom text or images before you place the order. So I'm hesitant to request one in case I just end up with a blank item because there was no option to customize it. Has anyone tried this before?
