Has anyone ever been sabotaged by a casting director? this literally just happened to me. it’s quite a long story so i’ll try to cut it short. A director i knew was casting a shorty film, she sent me the script earlier this year, read it and thought it was fantastic.
fast forward to earlier this month the CD send out the casting call. i send my tape to my agent on time, a couple days go by i send an email to my agent asking if there was any news. He responds and says the casting director has said that there are shortlists for the role but i’m being considered for another role (having read the script i knew myself that i didn’t suit this character at all) anyway another week goes by, my friend who had a callback let me know how it went and i was happy for her. later that same day after callbacks had already taken place. i get a text from the director asking if i ever taped for the role in the end as i messaged her previously letting her know that i had. i obviously found this very strange as i would think that the director would be reviewing all tapes. i asked her if she wanted to view mine so i sent it to her she said that she’d request it from the CD as well (keep this part in mind)
i now receive a forwarded email from my agent from the Cd saying the two roles are now cast. in my head i sort of knew something was fishy so i brought it up to my agent.
long story short the CD never viewed my tape or even considered it. it wasn’t until after the director requested my tape from her that she decided to show the director. she even emailed my agent for the tape again stating that the tape was corrupted? My agent went on call with her and she had said the reason as to why she never showed my tape to the director was because she felt i wasn’t strong enough! I thought the tape was corrupted?
there’s much more to this story but this is like the brief overview. to say i’m devastated is an understatement. this type of thing really takes a toll on your mental health. i’m literally only 18 and i can’t believe this

I’m currently in my 3rd year at an out of state university majoring in architecture. For various personal and financial reasons I have been considering transferring to UF (as an architecture major).
I would be applying to start from scratch this summer semester, not as an upper division student. I am okay with starting over as in the long run this won’t set me back much at all, although I’m nervous about my chances of getting in.
I don’t know how competitive the first year summer program is to be admitted into as a transfer, I’ll be applying with a 3.68 gpa, and if it matters at all I did get my AA from a college in Florida through dual enrollment in high school. Just wanted to ask around about the chances of getting in.

I am rather new to Factorio, and currently trying to plan an actual base that may be able to produce more than just two types of science packs. I am curious whether it is generally deemed better to make sure all resources that are in high demand across many different assembly lines, like iron plates or iron gears, are produced in bulk in one single place and then repeatedly split towards the areas that need them, or whether giving each big assembly product it's own small production of let's say smelters for plates and iron gear assembly lines is generally preferred.

I'm building a new PC for gaming and I sent a friend today to ask around for some parts I recently stumbled upon which I thought are great one of the shop keepers who my friend knows offered all the components for $1300 with a very good monitor included (not sure what monitor it was but according to my friend he said it was an OMEN brand) and also the shop keeper said that I should get a stronger CPU since my GPU is very powerful here's a list of what I've gathered for components: CPU: AMD Rayzen 5 7600X (I'm aiming for something more powerful as I said so I'm guessing the Ryzen 7 7700X) GPU: AMD Radeon rx 7800 xt Motherboard: MSI B650 ATX Motherboard + Wifi RAM: 32gb DDR5 Memory: 1TB SSD PSU: 850w Case: DK431 now I didn't mention specific brands for my PSU, RAM and air coolers and would love to hear recommendations because I haven't been able to find good ones. my overall budget is $1400 and I still need to buy a desk, mouse and keyboard (which I can borrow some money for). I don't want anything for looks like RGB and stuff like that. I just want something that can run games on the highest FPS and graphics.
is it good? do I need to change anything? would also love a monitor recommendation (something about 240hz with good color) I can borrow $300 for it

Agreed, but Armand is objectively the worst. Fans easily forget he was going to get Louis killed. I don't believe that he loved Louis before the trial for this exact reason. Perhaps after, but not enough to tell him the truth about the play/trial. He witnessed the love between Claudia and Madeleine and still directed the play of their demise. He knew how much Louis loved Claudia but still went through with it. Louis would have died too if it wasn't for Lestat's intervention to have him banished.
They were all villains in their own way but Armand was the biggest and most insidious one.

Everything seems to be 31MM wide outer and 25MM wide inner, when I need 25MM outer 21MM inner.
My bike wheel has micro-cracks in it. (no nipples on washers) so I'm getting ahead of the game to fix it next monday, and ordering the parts now. Bike shops take too long and never truly do it properly (with washers) so I'm doing it myself.
