To clarify, compensating variations, consumer surplus, and exchange variations.
I’m a lowly year 1 undergrad doing economics at university and on my 9th micro lecture. it’s late, and I’m bashing my head in on trying to derive relationships for CV CS EV relationships for different scenarios (quasi linear, inferior, giffen). makes me miss our first lecture on demand = supply.
to me, this seems like a largely theoretical exercise (can I use integrals, slutsky, partial derivatives etc) without much useful real world application. we can’t really establish consumer preferences as the typically weak/strong axioms of revealed preference doesn’t seem to help for CV EV. totally prepared to accept I’m wrong here though.
I like to know why I’m learning things and their applications to the real world. when asking my supervisor (PHD micro student) he shrugs his shoulders and saids to not worry about it. naturally, that’s not an explanation I can accept, and I was hoping for some insight/further reading.

My cat is 11 years old and has always had seasonal allergies in the spring. Every spring like clockwork she is congested and has some eye redness, but nothing too serious. She got some ointment from the vet one spring when she was a kitten and the redness was at its worst, but generally this clears up on its own within a few weeks / a month.
It is now the fall and she is still so congested and sneezing a ton. My furniture and walls get so much mucus on them and it really rockets out of her. She has no other symptoms. Her eyes are clear, breathing is good, she is happy, gets a lot of attention, eats good, drinks good, peeing and pooping normally. It's literally just insane congestion. Occasionally there is a tiny amount of blood in her mucus, but nothing concerning. Her mucus is just slightly tinted pink sometimes. My vet recommended bringing her in the bathroom with shower steam, but that isn't really helping.
Does anyone know of anything I can give her to clear this up? She has never been congested for this long before. It's probably more annoying to me than to her, but I would really love if I didn't have to wash cat boogers off of my walls and furniture 5 times a day. I also have 2 other cats and they have never had any similar symptoms, so this definitely isn't anything contagious.

My plan so far is to sand out all the rust, then go over with a rust converter to get any residual.
Apply 2k primer followed by color match paint and a 2k clear.
The repair is hidden and won't be getting any sun exposure, but I do want protection against further rust.
Someone has advised me to seal the primer before I topcoat. Is this really necessary? I have already spent a few hundred on supplies and it getting a little ridiculous..
If so what kind of sealer should I be using with 2k primer?
