COMPANY LAW â DIRECTOR DISPUTES â PLEASE HELP
Hey guys,
Iâm sorry this is long but Iâll try and shorten as much as I can. Me and business partner opened ltd co in March 22. I had a 34% share, him 66%. . We purchased a property under ltd co in Oct 22 but had to each give a personal guarantee on the mortgage. I put ÂŁ8500 into the business, he put in the remainder for deposit and fees.
We were to turn the property into a HMO. We did not need a HMO licence but still had to adhere to fire safety and HMO guidelines. In December 22 my BP had arranged for 4 people to move in without me knowing. He The relationship became frosty as he was keeping things from me. There were 4 lots of rent coming into the property. He then put the property up for sale with an agent who specialises in HMO sales as you can sell for more than bricks & mortar due to annual yield. In Jan 23 we received a section 255 from Bradford council housing team as they wanted to carry out a full inspection of the property to ensure we were adhering to the HMO criteria. After inspection, in March 23, it was deemed that we did not meet the requirements to be a HMO. It would cost around ÂŁ5,000 to complete the necessary works/adjustments. My BP was angry and asked where the money would come from to pay for the required work. We did not budget for moving walls, adding closed staircases etc. BP did not believe we were a HMO and was adamant that we were a 'shared house'.
At this point, BP had advertised the property with a specialist agent as a HMO to get a higher sale price (due to annual yield). My BP did not intend to carry out any of the works and instead, ended 2 of the tenancies. He stated that this would get the housing deot off our backs but he continued to lie to the selling agent and wanted to still proceed with the sale as HMO. I could not sleep for worrying over this as I am a mortgage broker with a license (he works in construction), I could not be part of this deceipt/fraud, as once a buyer was found and the sale completed, they would then find out that we were not actually passed as a legal HMO due to a 4-page list of safety requirements. He told the agent we still had 4 tenants and all necessary checks had been passed with the council. He basically lied to them about everything. I suggested renting the property to a single-family unit, we could then start to save and make the relevant adjustments for the future.
My BP turned nasty and told me I was scuppering the deal and I had two options, deal with it or go away. I could have lost my license/career over this and felt bullied and intimidated by him and the communications started to get nasty. In the end, under complete duress, I had no option but to send a text stating that I did not want to be part of the business or its runnings. This i thought would ensure that if the sale did complete (he had an offer accepted at this point from an investor), I could prove I was not party to the decision making, this is property misrepresentation!
He removed me from the company bank account, removed my significant control on companies house and made everyone aware they were not to give me any information. Once I was out of the picture, he contacted an agent who I sourced originally, took the property off the market and rented to a single family unit as I had wanted! The only reason I sent the text was due to his fraud/deceipt over the sale. I would not have wanted out if everything had been above board and legal as we had originally agreed. He wouldnt respond to any of my emails and I was completely frozen out. He told me that he was going to report me to the police for trying to find information out about my company! I was still named as shareholder on companies house at this point. From March 2023 he has received ÂŁ1300pm in rent. I have all the rental statements from the agent. BP has the rent paid directly into his other ltd company and not the one that actually owns the property. Is that legal?
I want my initial deposit back (ÂŁ8,500) and also my personal liability removed from the mortgage. But as I am constantly ignored, I firstly offered him mediation, which he ignored. I am unable to secure funds to use a solicitor to take him to court and i have no idea what to do next. On 16/11 he fully removed me from the company on companies house, I havenât agreed other than the text message sent under duress in March 2023 and i havent signed anything. Can he do this to me and just keep my money? I can evidence everything regards the deception to the agent for sale etc. He has my savings, I am no longer party to the company yet I still have a personal guarantee for the hefty mortgage debt. I feel helpless and out of my depth. Can he do this to me?

Does anyone have anything that has worked?? I can deal with any other symptoms without complaint all day everyday. But I draw the line at feeling like Iâm going to throw up all the time. For the past 9 days, Iâve thrown up every single day. I use oral zofran. I chew the hell out of ginger or mints. Nothing is helping anymore and at this point Iâm just so over it.
Iâm currently waiting until February before I can see a neurologist to hopefully order some motility studies and get this figured out but oh my god. If itâs still like this in a couple days Iâll have to go to the ER before dehydration kicks my ass

Auch ich möchte zu der Thematik etwas beitragen, da es mir sehr wichtig ist. FĂŒr die jenigen, die es nicht mitbekommen haben, hier eine kurze Zusammenfassung: Maudado hatte ja vor einiger Zeit ein Statement-Video veröffentlicht. Darin sprach sie erstmals von ihrer Transs.-ualitĂ€t (hoffentlich die richtige Begrifflichkeit) und dass sie sich auch oft als weiblich ansieht/fĂŒhlt. Vor kurzem verwendete Paluten, im Rahmen eines Videos zu Craft-Attack 12, fĂŒr Maudado das Pronomen âsieâ. Dies sorgte fĂŒr etliche Hass-und Trans-feindliche Kommentare im Netz. Meine Meinung: Ich verfolge Maudado schon seit lĂ€ngerem und habe demnach die Statement-Videos gesehen. Zum einen sein Outing, als auch die Reaktion auf die Fan-Kommentare dazu. WĂ€hrend ihrer Reaktion hatte ich TrĂ€nen in den Augen. Warum? Weil ich so glĂŒcklich und froh darĂŒber gewesen bin, wie erleichtert und gelöst sich Maudado nach seinem âOutingâ und den dazu positiven Fan-Kommentaren gezeigt hat. Sie habe nach langer Zeit endlich das GefĂŒhl, mehr sie selbst zu sein und sich nicht verstellen zu mĂŒssen. FĂŒr mich persönlich ist es das Schönste ĂŒberhaupt, wenn andere Menschen ihr GlĂŒck im Leben finden. Und das komplett unabhĂ€ngig davon, welcher NationalitĂ€t und S.-ualitĂ€t. sie angehören. Niemand darf das Recht haben, andere Menschen aufgrund dessen zu diskriminieren. Background: black male, low income, large public HS on the south side of Chicago (school avg SAT is a 974).
I have a 3.82 unweighted gpa, got some C's freshman year but all A's from 10th-now. Couldn't take honors/ap my first two years bc my old school didn't offer any.
1530 SAT, 780 M 750 EBRW
ECs: captain of varsity tennis at my school, captain/founder of my schools robotics team, started school's peer tutoring program with 13 tutors teaching 10+ subjects, science Olympiad awards @ state level, autonomous vehicle research internship @ national lab, TA for middle school robotics class @ a nonprofit on weekends.
Rigor: 2 APs (physics C: mechanics and gov), DE at local community college (calc 1 & 2, object oriented programming, linear algebra, literature), keep in mind all of these I either took last summer or am taking this year. 5 honors junior year, skipped precalc to take calc 1 last summer.
Awards: NMSF, national african American recognition program, honor roll, Illinois state scholar, recognized student by engineering society primarily in the Midwest
Essays: I think both my common app and UIUC specific essays are pretty good. AOs read at a workshop and said they were great.

So I downloaded the game from the PS Plus catalogue but I only have the option to play the trial, and the "Don't play alone" option is locked and says "buy the full version".
I checked other titles in the catalogue and I see there's the option to download a trial or the full game. I fear I might've selected the trial version for Little Hope, but when I tried uninstalling and checking the game again in the catalogue, I only get the option to download (doesn't say whether it is the trial version or the full game). I've downloaded it again and I still get the same issue.
Any ideas how to fix this? T_T

There has, up until this week, been little to no outrage from the local political and civic communities.
Then, two firearm related incidents happen on and around Lark Street and an immediate mobilization begins...nuisance proceedings, press conferences, general pearl clutching.
Apart from the most recent incidents occuring In a neighborhood that tends to better reflect the donor and political classes, what is it that would explain the wildly differing response?
I'm very obviously not saying we do not need to as a city respond far better to violence in our communities. Rather, I'm trying to understand why we didn't care to address it sooner.
My observations lead me to believe the city tends to care most about stemming violence when it affects certain populations, but I am very interested in hearing other, less cynical takes.

Hi reddit
Booked a trip to Orlando in September 2025 with a connecting flight at Chicago airport. We have 2hrs to make it to the other flight. Have to go through immigration, customs and security + go from terminal 5 to terminal 1 I think.
Here are some things to consider:
- We are international travelers (Belgium) so we use an ESTA.
- We plan on using the mobile passport control (MPC) app if possible (have been to the US twice so this should work for us)
- I booked preferred economy seats (United airlines) so me and my partner will hopefully be able to leave the plane quicker
- We will travel with only a carry on and personal item. So no waiting for luggage and checking in again.
Also: is there a separate MPC line at O'Hare/or at least skipping a big part of the normal line? Anyone who has been recently and can tell me?
Please soothe my nerves :(
