I want to exchange money (USD) in HCMC when I visit Vietnam on Friday.
As per what I read online, Ha Tam gold shop and Mai Van give the best exchange rate in the city, but looking at their Google reviews, and stories of how they slip in smaller denominations is making me second guess as to whether these will be any good. It's also kinda intimidating to re-count currency you're not familiar with in a place as busy as these shops. Are there any trustworthy money exchange centers that give reasonable rates?
Should we just give in and go to airport money exchanging? Or banks in the city center? How much worse are these compared to the gold shops?

A maioria escolhe faculdade se baseando em profissões que pagam bem ou que dão prestígio social, ignorando completamente que pra ganhar bem não basta ter um diploma, mas também ter um mínimo de vocação e talento que o destaque de outros profissionais. Por isso tantos ingressam em engenharia/medicina/direito, visando apenas satisfazer uma pressão que a sociedade (família e amigos) exerce, e acabam percebendo no meio do curso ou depois de terminar ele que fizeram uma escolha errada e que não se identificam de forma alguma com a área que escolheram. A ordem certa pra se fazer a melhor escolha possível deveria ser: ensino básico > trabalho > faculdade, ou: ensino básico > curso profissionalizante + trabalho > faculdade.

I’m having trouble understanding what a Büchner funnel removes. This is to do with a practical I recently done where I synthesised aspirin. One adding my reactants I had to filter hot under reduced pressure using a Büchner funnel. Apparently the Büchner funnel is used to remove insoluble impurities. How does it remove insoluble impurities? If they’re insoluble do they not just stay on the filter paper with the aspirin? Surely it’s removing the soluble impurities but allowing them to pass through the paper and collect in the bottom?
