2024.11.26 21:30 Negative-Diamond-494 Recurrent BV/yeast issues

Hi all. Hoping to get any insight or advice because I’m feeling really discouraged right now. Back in August, I started experiencing discomfort with my vagina and went to planned parenthood, they told me I had BV. They prescribed me metronidazole antibiotic pills. That took care of my BV, but then gave me a yeast infection. I then was prescribed fluconazole to treat the yeast infection, but things didn’t really get better. My university insurance kicked in, so I was able to start getting care there, and asked for another swab. The results showed I now had both yeast and BV concurrently. I was given treatment for both and took the prescribed medications as directed.
Also for context, through this whole fiasco, in between treatments, I had been having sex with my partner, and that seemed to sort of flare things up so I suspected that I wasn’t giving my vagina the time it needed to fully heals.
But anyway, the dual treatment really knocked out most of my symptoms for the most part. But I had a tiny bit of lingering discomfort. I ended up doing another swab to confirm that things were okay, and it came out clear. No yeast or BV. I also started taking probiotics from the brand Love Wellness around this time too. For a whole month or so, everything seemed to be going well. I thought I was finally in the clear. My partner and I are also on top of it when having sex - in terms of hygiene, clean up, etc.
But as of a few days ago, I started feeling itchiness and discomfort again. A friend suggested boric acid, so Friday night I inserted a boric acid suppository but don’t think I pushed it far up enough because when I woke up in the morning it had not dissolved and sort came out clumpy. It also caused me burning the entire next day after. So that didn’t go over super well.
Monday I went back to the doctor, and asked them to do ANOTHER swab. And turns out I have BV again. I’m so frustrated. This has felt like a never ending battle for the past 4 months. And I don’t know what to do. My sex drive has been so low, and I don’t even look forward to sex anymore because I’m so anxious that my pH will be thrown off and I’ll get an infection.
At first I thought maybe sex was a trigger, but in the week leading up to my symptoms being back, I wasn’t even having sex!! So at this point I’m just so confused.
I am going to be booking an appt with a women’s health specialist to discuss these recurrent infections. Is there anything I should advocate for? I really want to get to the bottom of this.

If your pulse rate is an issue, listen to "Pink Noise" or "Green Noise" at a low volume before donating which may help reduce your pulse rate, along with its effect on lowering your blood pressure.
There is a risk of getting a blown vein if the worker is having a hard time finding your vein when they're sticking you with the needle or if you have small veins. You may get deferred until your vein heals if that happens. But it's ok, your body is able to regenerate your veins with a process called Angiogenesis.
There is a risk of blood clots, but when your blood is constantly moving through the machine it prevents that from happening.
You may be subject to drug screening. The drug screening tests for methamphetamines, cocaine, and heroin. Wait a few hours before taking the bandage wrap off of your arm after donating.

Frequently donating over a prolonged period of time may lead to your body having decreased vitamin D levels.
Red meats are particularly high in the protein vitamins and minerals found in plasma.
Personally, I take a Now brand Vitamin D supplement that contains vitamin D3, Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc. But I only take a half a dose, 1 gel capsule instead of 2, since I get these from eating meats and other foods as well. I've been a Destiny player since House of Wolves, and the only two instances of a white shader (I'm not counting bitterpearl because it has a lot of inconsistency and miscolor), one being Chatterwhite in Destiny 1, and now Honors of the Nine in Destiny 2. We have numerous amounts of black, gold, etc. shaders, but the only decent instance of a white shader is unobtainable. I just think its silly that players who joined after Year 1 D2 can't have white armor, nor can anyone who didn't go flawless in that first year of D2.
Am I alone on this?

Last soap ranking was honestly a smell test now that I’ve tried them all my new ranking is…
Tier 1: Smoky mountain fog- is on a tier of its own. It makes my shower smell good after, and it’s just an amazing soap. Smells amazing, and I think in general this is a good soap if you are just starting to get into sudsy, and don’t know what to buy. This will get you hooked forsure.
Tier 2: Bear rum- I originally had bear rum on the tier with smoky, but smoky is just toooooo damn good to put with anything else, but bear rum smells amazing as well. (My girl liked both tier 1/2)
Tier 3: Wild cherry goats milk/raspberries & cream- I was such a hater of the wild cherry soap because of how it smelled in the box (Smells like medicine be aware) but once you use it, it does not smell that bad. I found this soap, and raspberries & cream to be the most relaxing soaps to me, and smelled quite well. My body recovered best from sports with these soaps. It probably doesn’t have an affect on the body, but I did find myself relaxing more the next day using those soaps compared to the others.
• Bottom tier• Blueberries & cream- had high hopes for it, but honestly did not like it. Smelled horrible in the tub, and it had a bad ending smell. Honestly could not wait to finish the soap it was that bad bro. Forgot the two soaps that stained my tub, but I’m sure it was also one of the soaps that stained my tub badly as well so definitely bottom tier.
That’s my soap review.

I have an '06 outback. Love her, but accidentally slammed the beep beep button in the door, shattering it. So when I lock my car, I have to unlock it with a key. Fine. But it sets the alarm off every time and is driving me crazy! I don't feel like spending a ton of money to get it fixed, it's going to my boyfriend's son next year, great first car. He doesn't care if it has an alarm or not.
I have watched videos how to disengage it. Tried them all, and nothing worked. I would just take out the fuse, but then I would lose my horn and possibly door locks. Please, please, how do I make it stop?
