I (M28) grew up mormon and got married quite young (24)
I was driven heavily by a sense of duty to provide and it caused me to spend a lot of my early twenties grinding and working.
I’ve recently deconstructed Mormonism and am enjoying life much more now with the sense of freedom to choose my path and not be so driven by duty.My wife is still mormon but very normal and supportive of me doing my own thing within reason.
We have a 1 year old.
As I think about the possibilities of my life, where it could have/would have gone differently, pretty much the only thing I regret (that I feel like I can do something about) is not doing extended travel before I settled into all the responsibilities of adulthood. I’m trying to manage the fact that I’m married with a young child now with my desire to book a one way flight to Asia tomorrow and be gone for years.
I would never abandon my family, but I’m trying to figure out how I can fulfill this need while still being a great husband/dad.
Questions I would love everyone’s take on:1. How much time do you feel okay with your spouse taking for solo/friend trips away from the family? Both how often and for how many days/weeks/months? Would this change with the ages of your kids?2. What age were your kids when you felt like extended vacations/travel with them was enjoyable and worth it?3. How do you manage differences in athletic ability and desire to be outdoors in your marriage, both on dedicated trips and everyday stuff?
- Once you’re empty nesters, how would you feel about your spouse leaving for 4-6 months to do a trip you have no interest in?
- Any other advice given this background?
- We are well off financially and my work is extremely flexible, neither a concern with additional childcare or the travel itself
- The type of trips I would love to do are: Full Appalachian Trail Hike, Sailing for Months, Extended Bikepacking trip, etc

Can anybody speak to the difference in vibes between west rockrimmon and skyway? We'd mainly been looking in Skyway as it's a much shorter commute for me... but there is some cool stuff up in rockrimmon.
That said, we're not sold on the vibes in the north part of COS. We've had lots of people warn us off from the "endless strip malls" of north Colorado Springs.
Anybody speak to what they love/hate about the Rockrimmon area?

I have always felt the first. I don’t know if I’ve ever felt the second. Is there a difference? I haven’t experienced any gender dysphoria, but I’ve always wished I had been born differently. I have experienced what some might call gender euphoria, mostly through playing/creating feminine video game characters. I give them the name my mom said she wanted to give me if I was a girl. It makes me happy when characters refer to me as that name. I think I’m trans, but transitioning without being sure is scary. I’m sure this comes across as super obviously trans from the outside. Will I ever be sure? I’m rarely sure of anything, tbf.

The new Viktor models skin is far too light to the point it looks like a light blue when the show and concept art use darker greys and purples. I think doing another colour pass like they did for the new Vi skin for base Viktor and some of the skins like Deathsworn and Creator could vastly improve them.

I’m not talking about teens cutting class with their school buddies, I’m talking about Pre-K to Elementary aged kids being out and about with their parents during normal school hours. I understand half days and randomly taking your kids out of school for appointments/etc, but lately it just feels like there’s random children everywhere all the time. Has this always been a thing? Am I just blind and now seeing it for the first time?
Or possibly worse, is this what aging is like?

With the latest chapter, now there is no doubt that Round 10 was the closest match we had in the entire tournament. Qin and Zeus got beaten up pretty bad, but nobody DIED and had to be revived after they won. Susano'o was legit a few seconds and millimeters away from a draw/win.
