2024.11.27 00:39 crmathe1 Looking for some insight on my blood results I just got back today.
Got some blood work done today and noticed I had elevated relative monocytes (11.6) but my absolute is within normal range (.73). Of course Google tells me l must have AML lol and my doctors office is closed until next week. I was telling my wife about my results so she looked hers up and noticed the same trend. Her relative monocyte level is 9.1 and the absolute is .68. The rest of both of our results are within normal ranges. Any insight as to what could cause it? How much should I be stressing? I can post the rest of my numbers here shortly. Thanks! Thanks!

I truly need advice here
I'm 19 for reference Sometimes out of the blue I get these terrible achy sharp pains right below my eyebrow (usually one side) for no rhyme or reason, even if I've been on my phone less then a hour that day and it's exhausting. I can feel it spread to the sides of my face and neck. Advil and naproxen don't seem to help.
Is there anything else I can do before bringing this up to my doctor?
How likely am I to have cluster headaches?
Is this similar to what you guys have experienced? TIA.

Not a direct question, but looking for advice on how to navigate this subject - first post on this sub.
TL:DR - In a long happy relationship but financial worries cause tension, different perspectives on money. How do I know how much of this relationship is held together by financial convenience, and how much is tension is a reflection of the economy rather thaan the relationship.
My partner and I have been together for 6 years.
We are in Canada and have seen home prices and cost of livings get out of control. We both work fulltime and save a bit, though I'm a bit more aggressive on saving/investing and financially anxious for the future (want to get a downpayment ready eventually and keep a rainyday fund).
I believe I love this person, but sometimes we can't have honest discussions on budgeting and planning for our future in a way that is realistic. There are times where we have a lot of tension and passive aggression even when navigating the subject delicately.
That's a general summary of the issue, though it leaves out a lot of great things in our relationship.
What I want advice on is how I can try to measure how much of our tension on money is due to these broader economic issues but not necessarily our partnership and our ability to communicate. I also question how much he or I are sticking together due to the mess we'd be in moving out to find a place to live while we work.
Feel so lucky and in love sometimes but then I worry how much of this is financial convenience and strain.
