2024.11.27 02:24 gttingbettrevrday I've had it! How do I tell this girl I'm tired of being the one trying to hold the conversation all the time?
I've been talking to this girl for a about a week and she can't answer anything longer than a sentence and sometimes more than one word. I know she's interested because she answers immediately almost everytime and when we saw each other she told me wants to see me again. She did tell me she has a hard finding things to say, but I get exhausted having to think after every message to figure out ways to keep the conversation interesting. It takes time away from work and other productive things that I could be doing if I'm spending 5-15 minutes thinking about what to talk about or how to keep the conversation going after every damn message. In the past, I would've just stopped responding, but I keep reading these post about getting ghosted, and I feel bad. What do I say? I don't have the energy anymore.

I’m currently on day 3 of starting my own sourdough starters from scratch (made a larger one with a smaller back up; for reference I made one with 1 cup flour:water and the other 1/2 cup flour:water and have been feeding accordingly).
Today, both of my sourdough staters had increased in total volume up from the lines where I had marked them at originally from last night’s feeding. Whenever this happens, should I be discarding from the total amount, INCLUDING the increased volume or discarding to half of the original start at beginning of feed, prior to rising? Or am I overthinking it and will be fine either way? I just want to make sure I discard the appropriate amount due to what I’m feeding them.

Cheonggyecheon Stream has been the venue for the Seoul Lantern Festival since 2009, and has been providing Seoul's unique night view and experience as it has the best environment to maximize the beauty of nature and lanterns in the city for 13 years.
Marking its 16th anniversary this year, the Seoul Lantern Festival will color Seoul's nights with spectacular results based on visitor experience-type exhibitions and participation of professional artists in various categories under the theme of "SOUL LANTERN: Play with the light of SEOUL."
The 2024 Seoul Lantern Festival will be held as a participatory festival for visitors to make the Seoul Lantern Festival, which is making a leap forward as one of the world's four largest winter festivals, into a festival that can be enjoyed together globally. In line with the theme of "Soul Lantern: Seoul, Play the Light," it will consist of exhibitions where visitors can enjoy traditional and modern play with various citizens and tourists from the Joseon Dynasty to the present. In particular, a festival that connects the past and the present will be held around "play" by composing modern play into travel, games, movies, and characters.

In Zone 1, "Play of Light", various performances in history are realized through the only mobile stage in the Joseon Dynasty, such as the mountain range and the fishing parade. In particular, 85 points of backs continue for 167m, and the 8m high mountain range and 54 points of back are the points to watch.
In Zone 2, "Escape from Daily Life with Light", you can see Seoul Bitmabul, which has Seoul's landmarks such as the Seoul Moon, Namsan Tower, and DDP, and landmark sculptures in the world, and you can see past and modern games such as kite flying and Jegi kicking through various traditional games. In particular, at the bottom of Cheonggyecheon Gwanggyo in Zone 2, a mysterious wave of whales swimming 40m in Cheonggyecheon will be created with media art to present an unusual direction.
In Zone 3, you can play with nature in your daily life or meet moments that were full of joy, such as weddings and ceremonies, which are the great monumental moments of your life. In Zone 3, where you can meet the joy of everyday life with light, it is a section consisting of Korean paper and LED art, showing directions that can be seen from afar and above. In particular, Eosahwa and Jokdu-ri in Zone 3 are 15m high, and many citizens in Jongno-gu and Jung-gu can enjoy the splendor.
In the "Seoul Walk of Light" zone 4, you can enjoy the present and future of Seoul through works by Hatch, Seoul's representative characters, friends, and various partners that symbolize modern play. In particular, you can see the works of five artists in Seoul through traditional Korean paper, and you can see the unique hatch displayed on the Cheonggyecheon Stream, which is expected to gain popularity as a photo zone.
In addition, the Light Chorong Playground, which will be built at Cheonggye Stream Gwanggyo Gallery, will run a D.I.Y. experience program for each season to mark Christmas and New Year for domestic and foreign visitors who visited the Seoul Light Chorong Festival.

Worthy reissues. Rare but it can be done. So I just received my copy of Mathhew Sweet's Girlfiend. The price was $37. It took me more than a month to bite the bullet and waiting until the Amazon price dropped from the $45 retail to $37 to pull the trigger.
Surprisingly, it's the best put together reissue that I own. It's from Intervention Records and it's "artist approved". Each side of the double album has 5 tracks and the side 4 has three demos. The packaging is superb. it even comes with a protective sleeve, the artwork is laminated and I can feel the care they took in making this album.
Now I am the first one to complain about the insanely high prices but hinestely if labels would go all out like Intervention and I see where my money is going I can better stomach the higher prices for super well put together reissues. So refreshing after the legion of cheap, slapped together atrocities that go for way too much money.
