My daughter is 3.5 and has two small oval shaped bald spots on her head. We see the doctor next week and she hasn't officially been diagnosed with alopecia areata (yet).
The first spot showed up randomly in September and there still isn't any signs of regrowth...like one little regrowth hair. This weekend, I noticed anther smaller spot hear the front of her hair line in her bangs.
If you have alopecia areata as a toddler or small child, is it something you still struggle with now? Or was it temporary? I'm trying really, really hard not to fixate on it but I'm just so worried for her and her self-image. The spot on the top of her head is quite big, probably a toonie (we're Canadian) in diameter. I know hair isn't everything, but pretty soon she's going to start noticing it herself..
I just need some words of encouragement :(

I found a weird glitch or bug So I’ve been replaying Lego Dimensions recently and in the second level in the stonecutter’s lodge area, when I go to get the mini kit connected to the tv, it’s not complete so I can’t do the puzzle, and can’t exit the puzzle when I enter it, this has happened across 2 save slots, and I’m on the Xbox version. I’m just wondering if there is a way around this? I’ve seen that other people can do this so I’m not sure what’s going on here. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Also sorry for how the picture looks, it’s on a tv.

2024.11.27 02:20 Author-Author908 If Touhou is a fairly meta series how does Zun know every incident? and how are some of the yokai okay with knowing what people know who and what they are?

I was looking back at an old comment of mine in one of the question posts I have for touhou lore (over here) I said that for the past 28 years zun has managed to portray every incident that has happened in gensokyo accurately (to some degree) and some of the cast of touhou are aware of this and are somehow okay with it. In one of the comments they said that Kosuzu literaly has a figurine of herself.
So I decided to come here again to ask a question and that is how the heck does Zun know how every incident is played out and how is he even a hinted at character in Touhou? And How are some of yokai okay with knowing what people outside of gensokyo know who and what they are?
Also how does Kosuzu have a figurine of herself?

Worried about my front tooth My right upper front tooth is causing me concern. The gums over that tooth are larger than the surrounding teeth, there is slight recession and I sometimes get a strange cold sensation in that tooth that I don’t get in others.
Each time I go to the dentist, I’m told that my teeth and gums are healthy and that there is nothing to worry about. They barely even clean them, and I’ve been going to the same dentist for 8 years now so there have been times I needed a deep scaling, it’s not like they’ve never done it before.
But for the last year my teeth have looked like this and they keep saying nothing is wrong. Should I get a second opinion? Because I don’t think my gums look very healthy and I’m concerned about the recession over my front right tooth. My dentist has told me both times I went this year that it’s fine and normal for my age(I’m 34) and my orthodontist also said my teeth look fine(I had Invisalign for a few years that ended this fall)
Do you think that there is anything I should be concerned about? Should I get a second opinion elsewhere? I brush twice a day, floss and use mouth wash after every meal and I don’t consume much sugar. I also don’t smoke. I know genetics can come into play but I really don’t know what else to do at this point.
