Apparently someone stole it which Iām assuming was the 1st dasher Malechi the 2nd one Austin cancelled for whatever reason. 2 hours wasted. Got a refund of course but still kinda irritated.  | Hi there! I have run into some weirdness that I wanted to ask about given I don't quite either understand the mechanics of the game or missing something. Blue circle I have a 1 height floodgate set to 0.9. Recently, I created a dam that was previously blocked off at red. After I filled up the dam, I noticed that the amount of "blueness" in the water passage shown by green arrow is way less than what it used to be. I then noticed that my water wheels, which used to produce a combined 750W are currently doing 200W. I thought it could be because of the sluices but reading everywhere, it seems like they shouldn't be restricting water flow so I am really lost on why adding a dam caused the flow rate to go down so dramatically. One other note, the amount of water pumps on the dam reservoir is same as number i used to have in the river before so it cannot be that I am pumping so much water that flow is getting divided up between the dam and the river. submitted by demonlord27 to Timberborn [link] [comments] |

I am in the process of applying for Computer Science to competitive programs within Ontario but the OUAC application has the option to add my prior post secondary school education, which is an international diploma in health sciences.Considering that I am not applying for a related degree program, and that the cost for the evaluation of my diploma is subjectively expensive, I am considering leaving out that part of the application.I however am uncomfortable by the possibility that it maybe information that affects my acceptance into these competitive programs even though it is not related to the program itself..I need all the perspectives I can get.I otherwise have all the 6 required 4u courses.

I see why Kody does have to be strict with his feelings and honesty towards Meri. As much as he does I think care for her still, and is a POS - I do see a man that does maybe love Meri still even though he knows deep down the pain he caused her or just feels bad he hurt her so much after everything they have been through. Itās possible to care for someone and feel bad you hurt them, without wanting to be with them again. They were joking so much on the van, and he said things he shouldnāt have like my favorite ex wife, why couldnāt it be like this all the time, and things about missing her - yes that is confusing.. but you can tell he doesnāt actually want her and just those few interactions made Meri reconsider leaving and put so much hope in her heart that he will want her back. She obviously canāt take handling anything positive from him or having a genuine reaction because we have seen her backtrack instantly and have it hurt her. Thatās why he does have to be careful in those moments like he said - because it does lead her on and make her even more hurt over him. Just the reaction after seeing him cry you could tell her panties were wet and she was starting to fall in love all over again.

I tell my "voices" how great they are. As I write that first sentence, I hear them say, "really?" Yea, really. You all may exhaust me, but getting stronger takes a lot of energy. At least I'm moving forward.
I suppose I'll let my "voices" live out their dreams through me. I'll accomplish their goals, and I'll give them the glory for it. We share a mind and think many of the same things, mistaking eachother's thoughts for our own, which is why I give them credit for my successes. A lot of what I think of and learn is inspired by them.

Iām 49 yo. I used to be a DJ. Had fun. Never saved a penny. Then was a personal trainer for the first part of the pandemic. Met a great girl. We moved in together. She offered to pay the rent. I took the opportunity to learn programming in order to build iOS apps - a dream I had always had.
I built a nice app in a niche market and I thought at least I would be able to make a hit of money each month from it. Nothing! Not a single god-damn solitary cent. I think because I know nothing about product-market fit or marketing.
Now people say that being able yo make a living as an indie developer is out of the question.
I am so not-motivated to work on my app anymore because I have gotten so little back from it - either financially or in any other way.
And getting a job as a developer is a hassle as well. One guy told a story on Reddit about doing 280 applications to finally land a job.
I canāt get much work as a DJ anymore because I donāt have the connections and Iām too old.
Iām not fit anymore so I canāt do personal training and my certifications have expired.
I just feel like shit about myself every day. I am always tired and itās affecting my relationship.
I canāt believe Iāve made such a mess of my life. I was so naĆÆve thinking I could make a modest income from my app.
I feel like I got the worst from both my parents: my dadās lack of financial acumen and my momās anxiety. If I had either but not both, life would be easier.
I donāt know what to do. I donāt know now to move forward and I donāt know how to feel okay about myself.
