2024.11.27 07:23 123456789_00 Tree root grew into our plumbing pipes in our yard ):
Caused a big backup blockage in our house etc.
We are on city water - don't have a septic system.
The city came out and did some metering and zoning, and said that the blockage occurred on the city easement, which, from my very limited understanding, is like 10-15 ft from the public road? We got so incredibly lucky because the city repaired it at no cost to us. Could've otherwise been very, very expensive. They cut out the piece of pipe and replaced it, and removed the root, obviously.
Has anyone ever had this happen? We aren't sure if we should just bite the bullet and pay to have the tree removed? We're thinking yes. Thoughts anyone? TIA!

2024.11.27 07:23 envyy2021 Faulty Ryzen 7 5700X3D Causing Boot Loop?
So I just bought a Ryzen 7 5700X3D to upgrade my Ryzen 7 3700x. I have a b450 tomahawk max, rm650 psu, 1 6gb ddr4 ram, and rtx 2060 6gb vram.
When I first installed my Ryzen 7 5700X3D, the PC booted up perfectly. I was already on a compatible BIOS version. I got into windows, and the PC registered the new cpu. I stress tested it and ran some games, no issues. I then restarted my PC, and that's where the boot loop started.
The boot loop just continuously restarts my pc when trying to load up windows, giving me the only option of going into bios.
I tried almost everything to fix it. Reseated GPU, RAM, Reinstalling windows, clearing cmos, updating BIOS. Nothing worked.
When I put my old r7 3700x, I BOOTED AND GOT 0 ISSUES.
I don't know what the issue is. Is it a faulty CPU? I want to submit a replacement to AMD but I am afraid it will work on during their tests, resulting in the issue being with my PC.
I will try to put the new cpu in once more and verify no bent pins and that it is seated correctly. If the issue still persists, then it must be a faulty CPU.
