2024.11.27 07:54 Madmanmelvin Looking For Advice on Table Arrangement
Hello ya'll. Not a crafter, but I hang out here because I do a lot of flea markets and some toy shows, so some of the advice definitely overlaps.
I sell primarily books and board games, and I typically have a 20x20 space to work with. I do okay, and because I only have 4 tables, I typically just line them up horizontally at the front of my spot.
But I am doing a show this Saturday, and I will have a 10x10 space to work with. I have 4 tables. 3 are approximately 4 feet long, and 2 feet wide. The other is a standard card table. I also have a set of stackable shelving, 2 shelves, 2 feet long, and about 3 feet high.
A general convention is to make a "u" shape, which I am strongly leaning towards. Put two tables vertically at the ends of my spot,, and then arrange two tables horizontally in back, with the shelving holding flashier and more noticeable stuff on one of the back tables.
Or I could arrange the other 3 tables around the card table.
Or I could do 2 horizontal rows, of two tables each.
There are a obviously a ton of possible arrangements, but realistically, I think only 3 or 4 of them are good.

I'm currently doing A-Level graphics and I'm SO. LOST. I'm in my second year and my teacher is absolutely no support, he just says if he likes your work or not. That's it. We're not really allowed to make work inspired by no-one and I need artists to study, my theme is 'rituals' and 'symbolism', rituals in this sense isn't like sitting around a pentagram but more of like a routine you do every day.
I've already done some work on April Greiman and Saul bass, any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

I have been friends with this dude for around 15 years. We have played in same bands and done all kinds of creative stuff together. What has recently bothered me are certain traits in his personality. He lacks completely a sense of humour, he doesn't like small talk, he is not able to just hang out, he takes everything very seriously and may call me and whine about some drama he has created in his own mind. When I have told some jokes he doesn't like he'll text me afterwards and very bluntly tell to stop joking like that. He can't stand any silence, and everyone must keep talking so he doesn't feel anxious. He complains me often that there's this weird tension between us, but can't seem to realize it's all his falt. Now the problem is, that we are in the same band and I am scared to leave the band. What should I do?

Hey all - slightly random q - but has anyone had any experience (good or bad) running WP in some kind of containerised form? I've just been popped https://coolify.io/ on some Hetzner hosting to have a play and am trying to figure out pro's and con's of doing this vs "normal" LAMPy hosting.
Forgive if this is a stupid or naive question - I'm a WP veteran but have mostly avoided even looking at Docker and anything container-y over the years. I have a few (non WP) apps that I want to host for which this solution looks really useful - but I started playing, booted up a WP site and then wondered if this was a viable or useful way of working...
Any advice / thoughts gratefully received - thanks in advance!

2024.11.27 07:54 Glad_Prompt2516 Just got top surgery and nobody is answering my questions about drains
Iāll be honest I think I might be entering panic mode. I got top surgery on Friday November 22. Drains have been doing fine and right away there was a lot less than expected, so m also taking norco for pain and itās a lot more manageable with. I tried spacing out my doses more in fear of addiction and my body never felt more sensitive or out of my own control. So Iām trying to play it as safe as possible.
However two days ago I noticed some dry blood around the tube of one of my drains poking out from under my compression binder. I asked my sister help pealing that small side up to see whatās going on and there was a line of dried blood around the one pipes connection and thatās it. The other side was fine. Also this drain, drain 1, had much lighter liquid within 2 days post op indicating a very speedy recovery. At least I think. Iām the first of any of my friends to get this surgery so I really donāt know what to expect.
My dad and sister say they arenāt concerned and think Iām overreacting. However something just feels off and I want to listen to my body. I really donāt want any complications so am I just catastrophising over nothing?
Also the tubes the drains are connected to kinda hang low and are held to my chest with Bobby pins but now I notice dark red fluid/stuff is built at the lowest part where the tube hangs down and I try moving it with my fingers but it doesnāt move and looks like a string of red something all connected hard to break apart all lining the entire tube. Not sure if itās a clot or not itās very long and thin. How concerned should I be?
I called the doctor and they said theyād get back to me, so far nobody has gotten back to me. Every family member says itās not a concern but this is kinda scaring me because I have no clue what itās supposed to look like and I donāt like having my well being in other peoples hands especially since theyāre all cis and donāt know what theyāre dealing with. If any of you guys know what Iām talking about please please please help?
